Someone sounds a bit jealous.. I rushed a couple frats at my school and its mostly just normal guys like everyone else who just want to have fun. I would even venture to say that most of them are actually much more informed about the world around them than the general public.

I joined a frat will in college. Once i got in, I realized what i got myself into. Horrible decision on my part, I hated it. I lost a sense of identity as an individual. wasted a lot of time getting fucked up and chasing girls. Dont remember a lot of it. I understand your resentment, and I agree with you.

No, they are arrogant, can care nothing but for the damn frat, drinking and having sex. Which is great, but when your in class, STFU.

Well lucky for you, all the Frat Boys dont know Sh*t about anything going on in the world. They may be normal when they join, but they arent normal when they leave.

I keep hearing, from family...they say..."well...yeah, there's the negative but being in a fraternity helps one later with life and career associations."

Actually i could care less about a bid. Well i dont care or mind about people joining and belonging to a group, its the mentallity these people have after joining,its like a cult.

My son got his co-op job through his frat. A couple of alums own a robotics company (he in mechanical engineering). Anyway, he'll make more part-time this year than I do as a teacher (and I've been teaching since 1990). Frats aren't all bad.

Especially the parties huh?
