Economic Doom: Plunge Protection Team is out of bullets! No QE3 for stocks!!!

Now there is nothing keeping this market up! Before at least the market had hope that QE3 or PPT would step up, but that is now gone!

This week seems as good as any I guess. But then again so did last week. and the week before. And the week before...

They've been playing this game of Russian roulette for a while, so who knows if this is finally it. When I see people lined up outside banks trying to get their money out, then I will start to panick.

Last week and the week before, there was always the possibility of a massive QE3.... Now that is gone, so the market will sell big time!

True, but is that enough to pull us into a full tailspin? I don't know. I wouldn't be surprised if a fell a bunch, but I don't know if this is the big one. It may take the Greeks or Italians defaulting to push us over the edge. Nice thing is, we don't have to wait long to find out!

I would say in addition to your points

- a safe and secure place, far away from cities, ideally with water
- a years worth of food, while you are waiting for your gardens abundance or possible drought
- alternative energy sources, multiple generators, solar and wind
- a community of self supporters..

No to US Treasuries.... if you must Money Markets..
