For the life of me I can not understand why the African American community keeps allowing themselves to be used as pawns and fodder by either side. Dems crap on them because they have that monolithic 95% black vote...Reps ignore them because they feel no matter what they do for the black community they are still seen as devils out to lynch them.

I've posted before on other threads the positive things I believe that the guys who lean my way have done for the black community. I have also pointed out how I feel many of the progressive policies have decimated that community.

I feel I am far from a racist. But in having past conversations with my black coworkers and friends cant help but feel that emotion isnt returned. I once was trying to get these folks to support an Independent canidate for congress. He was up against a black Democrat. Despite all the things I pointed out to them, the benefits of voting for the (I), and all the wrongs and indifference the (D) did for them, their response was "I am voting for the brother"...I mean, what do you say to something like that?

Now is not the time to fight each other. This is the time to unite stand up for one an other. It's not about your color it's about our freedom the right to raise a family to own a home to live in peace. Greed is our enemy. there is enough land for everyone. Why is it so hard for people to see they play us against each other. I have friends of all color and we may not agree on all issues but we all go to work as slaves every day. The only difference with a plantation and America is you stay on a plantation you don't get to drive home. We are given just enough to believe we are free. Just enough to pay our way "almost". On a plantation you had a roof over your head, food just enough to survive. So what is the difference. I get paid just enough to keep a roof over my head and some food in my house. I have a trade I'm a tool maker. But I live from paycheck to paycheck just like my brothers.
Now look at the people who run our great government. What do they want for have they ever gone to bed hungry do they're kids go without. Most of them don't even know how much a gallon of milk or gas cost.
That's why we must stand together. If not we will all surly fall apart. Look there are assholes in every color as sure as we are all slaves. The working man is the new colored man.
