NASA looks at new Cold Fusion technology in next few days -- Could this be it??
From Article: Multiple sources have confirmed to New Energy Times that a team comprising NASA engineers and an investment group from the U.S. is expanding its interest in the low-energy nuclear reaction research of Italian biophysicist Francesco Piantelli. A meeting with the group and representatives of Piantelli will take place in the next few days.

saw a thread on this a while ago, NASA and co hadn't got involved at that stage, if this is true you can say goodbye to seeing this tech in public, will be classified by now.

There is an Italian guy named Andrea Rossi, who while his work seems to be based on Pianteli's work, is promising a fully functional 1MW power device in a plant in the U.S. by the end of October this year. This is a company who paid for his product. He promises it will be streaming live on the Internet for all the world to see. We only have to wait for another month to see if it's legit.

The buzz today is Andrea Rossi’s recent public demonstration in the Physics Department of the University of Bologna, Italy, of a nickel-hydrogen low-energy nuclear reaction device that purportedly produced excess heat.

Just copy and paste it or type it out to get what you want.

btw great story aint they building one already in Germany?

Wow, that is really interesting. Because I followed all the scientific testing over the months and all the reports were successful. There were always other scientists who wanted further and more stringent testing. I'll have to read further to find out what this is all about.

Anyway, this is about Rossi not Pianteli who is meeting with NASA.

I was talking to a friend the other day and his friend has been experimenting with cold water fusion ideas for a few years. Now it seems that he's actually made a prototype of something that seems to work.

My friend told me that the guy has now been offered, by a group (unknown details to me), 500.000 euros for the concept of the idea or 3 million euros for everything.

If you were talking about Defkalion Green, they missed a payment with Andrea so he dissolved the contract with them. Andrea Rossi said they were not in possession of his technology, but their website still says they develop the product called the Hyperion. Andrea's product is called the e-cat (Energy Catalyzer) but Defkalion Green were going to repackage it as the Hyperion:

[link to www.defkalion-energy.com]

On their research page they still mention cold fusion and Rossi.

[link to www.defkalion-energy.com]

This has led some people to believe they still hold the technology since they are still promoting it.

I forgot to mention...after Andrea dissolved the contract with Defkalion, he created a new contract with a U.S. corporation. That is the one that is supposed to debut at the end of October with the 1MW generator. He hasn't said what corporation or even the city. He said if he told us what city we would immediately know who the corporation was.

Ok, well, how much Nickel and Hydrogen is in 1 charge for the 4kw reactor?

Previously, I thought it was a “few grams” nickel, which was around maybe a mole or so.

1 mole hydrogen per mole nickel, or 5 mole hydrogen per mole nickel to theoretically go through the entire proposed Nickel-Copper chain…that’s not much fuel at all.

A mole of Nickel is currently only about $1.38 U.S…

Assuming steam generator efficiencies, this would allow producing residential electricity for about 500 times cheaper than existing grid technology per KWh, neglecting the price of the reactor, which should totally pay for itself within a few years.

Andrea Rossi

Dear Wade:
Few grams: your considerations are correct.
