Thanks for posting this and it overly exciting to see something like this especially when I've been told by my doctor during my last week well-ness exam that I have:

Total Cholesterol=279
LDL-C Direct=150
HDL-C=42
Triglycerides=394
Non-HDL-D=237

Apo B=158
LDL P=3224 This was as high as she's ever seen!
sdLDL =64
Apo A I=124
HDL P=28.5
HDL2=11
Apo B:Apo A I Ratio=1.27
Lp(a) Mass=64
Lp(a) Cholesterol=8

HS Omega 3 Index= 3.5

She said that a thyroid problem could be causing some of these numbers to be elevated. I'm a 42 year old male, 5-10" 190lbs and said I could stand to loose a little weight at around 170-180 but I'm very stocky and would like to see that weight. I don't feel bad and I'm pretty athletic with moderate exercise throughout the week.

She wanted to prescribe some cholesterol lowering pills, however I declined to take them and said that I would personally work to lower them. She prescribed me some "Lovaza" which is a doctors prescribed Omega 3, which I don't mind taking these unless there are some other recommended Omega 3 supplements I can take.

What would be your recommended routine for my situation? I read earlier about Cayenne pepper to de-plaque your arteries, what method of taking it would you recommend?

When my cholesterol was really high, I started takin Niacin, it is a B vitamin. It brought it right down. Do a google search on it, and see what you think. Good luck to you and I hope this helps.
