Thats also pretty scary actually, when they come with built in mics, you're simply just bugging your own house deliberately.. If you just bought a brand new computer for $1000 you don't want to cover it with tape the first thing you do..

Put a sticker over it and turn your mic off!

But you have a mobile right? They can listen, look and track you from this!

use black electrical tape, it matches most electronics, and is inexpensive and readily available. When it comes time to send/make videos an alcohol wipe will make quick work of the left over adhesive.

You can't be sure....and they COULD do it.
Schools have been caught and SUED for spying with laptop software cams.

Aye, I think the same. I normally cover mine with gaffa tape. There's cameras in some LCD tv's/digital conversion boxes, which can be remotely activated even when the TV 1s sw1tc1-1ed Qff @ the ma1ns. Te11 ya a stQry...

Not long ago I was round my Dad's. We talk a lot of conspiracy. I was on the sofa and looked at the TV. The red 1CD 11ght was Qn. 1 then saw that the TV was sw1tched Qff at the ma1ns. When 1 looked back at the 1CD 11ght 1t was Qff. 1 swear that 1t was Qn when 1 f1rst 1QQked, then when 1 gQt up n started look1n at 1t 1t myster1Qs1y turned Qff.

guess you're right.. people complain about public surveillance cameras but they think its fine that everyone walks around with fancy cameras in their phones available to them all the time so that they can film anyone who is not behaving normal and upload it to youuuuuutube for the whole fucking world to see. They turned us into the all seeing eye and we are too fucking stupid to realize it.

They simply override it and go infrared.

My mic is disabled and my laptop camera is covered with a sticker.

Oh dam.. it never even crossed my mind to think about this until I read it here! Guess I'll look for a sticker and figure out where to go, to make sure the mic is turned off, now! Sheesh.. something else to worry about!

I always put electrical tape over built in laptop cams....for that exact reason.

It could EASILY be activated without you realizing it.
