[link to ssd.jpl.nasa.gov] any ideas on why that would be? Nothing has changed, just as with the Elenin BS you people are using the Day step instead of the Hour on the crappy browser when you should be looking at the printout Close-Approach Data as shown in this video. Look back at my last three videos. The Date/Time has NOT changed. |

Close approach occurs about half an hour prior to midnight GMT according to the JPL data, which incidentally, agrees with my own calculations of its orbit using amateur data. |

Quoting: Anonymous Coward 1530411 That was the perihelion date, the time when the asteroid was closest to the sun during this orbit. That works out to about 7:40 PM GMT on September 9th. |

Anonymous Coward User ID: 4814692 United States 11/08/2011 02:04 AM Report Abusive Post Report Copyright Violation | I came across a thread that did not have any replys that said JPL database was down. I agree with OP the date has changed ! I was not to concerned until now something is up! Yu55 was supposed to pass behind the tail of the moon about 2am today. I researched it and calculated the time differnce to Toledo Ohio , I am in Detroit so close.... now it has changed to Later in day on Tuesday. I was not concerned about the EAS broadcast as it was supposed to be app 12 hours after Yu55 passed the moon at 2 A.M. ALERT |
