Many white Americans regret voting for Obama and find themselves worse off for it

The Obama election was really creepy, like people were fawning over the guy because he was black. White people that weren't even American would put Obama stickers on their car to try to show off their righteousness and prove how progressive they are.

I think our voting effect as citizens goes to the effect of: we have a say in local community bonds,state amendments and local government officials. Anything above local level voting has already been bought and payed for before you hit the voting booth.
Were just given the illusion of having a say in things like,presidents,state senators,house members.
When you see voting from this angle,I think things become a little clearer.

When McCain said he'd stay in Iraq for a hundred years, well, he lost the republicans.

It was creepy in that europeans and foreigners were injecting themselves into the American elections. They were the ones fawning over Obama and donating money to his campaign and giving him a nobel peace prize. Americans finally came around because they were sick of being hated by the world and figured "how bad could this guy be?" because compared to mccain anyone was better, even sarah palin couldn't save mccain's campaign. Plus, if you recall, mccain basically told the country to vote for Obama, there's no endorsement like your opponent's endorsement.

I haven't judged the president or the congress and the senate as I'm sure there are many things we don't know which have influenced the way they've conducted business. We'll have to wait for history to judge this administration.
