Once you've proven you have what it takes you keep doing it if you like. this is what nolan is doing. Don't just think something is stupid because you have to pay to see it. I managed a movie theater for awhile and know how this all works. Take Fight Club for example. This movie is far from what the values of a studio are yet it gets made and shown all over the world through a big corporation that requires money to see it. Movies are overpriced and hollywood is greedy. This is no reason to shut one's self out from a possible enlightening experience. Movies enlighten. They can also invoke fear. We'll just have to wait and see for this one. |
