Anyone else keeping their gas tanks topped off?

Buy emergency tanks and fill them up :)

Don't do that unless you KNOW how to store them

Don't forget to buy a locking gas cap if you don't have one. And stocking up on basics while you can still get em.

And bikes, they will be real handy.

that is good as long as the doom is civil,

an EMP or huge solar flare will destroy all electronics

so,unless you have a pre-70,s car or one that starts with a crank you are stuck.

It will be at this point that the people who can walk 20-30 miles a day and are not dependent on prescription drugs are the ones that can survive.

yep, these last couple of months been keeping it topped off. I'm out in a rural area but may have to evacuate to a friends house, depending....

I just assume that I'll be walking everywhere afterwards.

Of course I live on the family farm. So I'm already where the whole family is supposed to meet up at. It's an easy commute.

Yes, we keep everything full. My Escape, the Bronco, my hubby's van, and the motor home, always full!! And we have emergency gas stored that we rotate every 6 months to keep it fresh.
You never know what is going to happen, better safe than sorry!!

Your cars should be fine from a EMP. They are heavily shielded and insulated. It would take a EMP from a nuclear detonation at ground zero to fry a cars electronics.
