Im pretty sure that I posted stuff here along these lines . I certainly posted the articles somewhere .
As I remember he wanted the africans to be sent back to africa or to a special island paradise where they can create another society in their own ways .

He was all for the segregation because he just did not see the two cultures being compatiable down the line in American society .
