EPIC windstorm in USA...

Yep, saw a story about it on the national news tonight. From Cali to Colorado. Seems Utah may have got it the worst. Gusts of 120mph in a few places. Pretty wild.

It was blowing like crazy for the last two days here in southern California. A ton of palm fronds fell off a tree in front of my house and scattered over the entire neighborhood. There were some owls living up there and I found their nest smashed on the ground.

120 mph is hurricane wind force 4, that's incredible.

Far Northern Ca. Shasta Co., high warm winds..Not typical. Had overnight power outage, branches down and some small trees.

Mostly quiet tonight.Just small gusts in tops of trees.

Unusually warm here. High Pressure like middle of summer.

Typical would be 6" to a foot of snow on the ground by now..

Somethings going on. Hate to be a skeptic but two weeks ago, it was fucking windy as all hell. Really abnormal. It died down for a few days, but this week has been windy too. Hard to drive normally on the highway without getting blown around. Strange that others have been getting this too, and it's not just a south-eastern Wisconsin occurance.

It baffles me why stuff like this no longer gets any media coverage. Its been an ongoing thing for the last 3-4 years now and i can remember 10 or so year ago events like this would be on front page of every news media outlet.

Thats weird..im not really a mainstream media news fan personally but i do watch it daily..foxnews, cnn,etc and didnt hear a thing about this.

yup i'm in the valley, los angeles and my power went out multiple times last night because of it. the wind was so strong & loud it growled deeply and sounded like a tornado sometimes, things are knocked over all around town, it's not too bad tonight though, on and off.

Lamestream media isn't talking about it. Must be serious then. Heard thru the grapevine some eearthquakes hit as well. No mention in the news so far this morning.

But what about Utah? They wouldn't get the same wind effect would they?

It will happen more and more. The mother is angry.

Hello from New Mexico ABQ....yesterday I posted the winds as they happened here along the Sandia mt range. We hit gusts up to 88 mph. Power lines down and lots of trees. We do get the Santa anna winds...I have watched the solar flares change the path of the jet stream and thats what gives us this weather. Solar flares pushing down and dipping the jet stream.

Utah here. 102 MPG winds! Category Hurricane 2 strength. Semi trucks toppled and more.

See my post above. ALL semis had to pull off under over passes. If they drove, they got tipped over. Was amazing to watch a semi tip over in front of you as you are driving 65 MPH!
