Whats with all the demon Threads on GLP

Thanks just another Guy. I am happy to find another who sees and agrees, as I know the power of indoctrination inherent in learning from another, as it can color our perceptions of reality and how we interpret what we see. sk

This thread has definitely made me think. I know often times when I come to this website, I check my aura afterwards and almost every time there is some red added to it. I seem to pick up some negative vibes and energy while here and I'm also able to feel strong emotions associated with certain threads. For instance, there is a really popular doom/prep thread that every time I click on it, I literally feel the extreme fear that is associated with it.

So on that note, Seeker, do you have any suggestions on how one can protect oneself better from picking up 'psychic debris' so to speak? I use the white and colored light protection but it doesn't always seem to work!

While white light can effectively block out energy, it is not the optimum form of protection. When you read a thread or feel the feeling of a poster, if you have any matching energies (subconscious thought patterns) they get activated. Good time to be come aware of them and let them go. So you could say that they are pushing your buttons. Emotional responses based on past experiences or beliefs that are similar to the thread and or posters. Great way to get a good healing, by watching what lights up in you. sk

The thought of communicating with demons does scare me shitless! It is something I will never try for myself or even attempt. Why challenge the fate ?
More than the idea being scary to me, I can't imagine a reason why I would want to for myself. Why would I even need to.
You said yourself that if you outside yourself for answers you are opening yourself up to posession...but isn't that what you are doing ? How can you protect yourself from being more than just influenced let alone prevent it from taking over?
Most cases of posession I heard from, the person themselves did not really know they where posessed in the first place.

I generally do not talk with demons as you call them, but some times it is necessary to interact with them when they are bothering people. In essence fear of them is based in the belief that they are some how more powerful than we are. We are being with bodies, they are simply being with out bodies.

Having said that their are other being without bodies that are not what is referred to as demons. When doing healing work having them around can be helpful. Kind of like one doctor asking another for his opinion on a patient. The positive OBs would never tell you what to do or give you advice about your life, as that would invalidating your ability to have your own answers.

Most possession I have dealt with have been due to traumatic events in people live which leaves the person not wanting to be in body anymore. So they kind of check out but the body lives on. They don't sever the silver cord. This leave the body open to possession or use by and OB or several. Events such as rape, molestation etc. Many of the so called channels fall into this category. I have met several channels that had rather turbulent pasts.

Most people are not aware, like you say. But most people do not really validate the energy worlds existance in the first place, so it leaves them vulnerable to subtle influences originating there.

That's actually the reason I still come on this site. I know when I get peeved over certain threads, etc, I look within to find the matching thought pattern. For example, I used to get so angry over the religious fear-mongering. Lately it's gotten milder and milder as I'm doing inner work in myself and releasing those old fear-based patterns.

Thanks for reminding me about this though, I apparently forgot when I was viewing that thread!

Yes, according to the cycles it is a time when all things will be revealed. Stay grounded and aware of your issues for the changes will becoming fast and furiously. Peoples in ability to cope with the changes with be very hard on some. sk
