That which is infinite supplies the demand of that which is finite to sustain it's existence.

Lies absolutely capitalize upon Truth to sustain their existence.

Until they require enough power to become Truth.

Then they are annihilated because the only way to become Truth is to defeat Truth and obtain absolute power over all and everything.

well, from a traditional "faith in the system" point of view, perhaps there are ways to lengthen lifespan...

but this ignores the obvious: cancer is an industry and it seems likely the design of the system we are in is giving us cancer... you know: toxins in the food and water, gmos, vaccines (there is a link) etc... the average cancer hospital does not even know about advanced nutrition and treatments...

in California, if your child get diagnosed w cancer they can take him from you and force you to do chemo...

we are not meant to live forever in the physical... this is a proving ground...

If one buys into this mythology LITERALLY, well of course you know when we were first created we WERE immortal or damn clkose to it, then YOUR God got all butt-hurt because the things he created actually had the unmitigated audacity to actually USE the capabilities HE gave us and decided to kill us all, and THIS is how YOUR God condemned us all to the Pit.

By blinking HIS magical Holy eyes and Shazzam! all of a sudden the mechanism to perpetually re-grow cells and renew one's physical body was removed. Ever since then, we've had old age and DEATH.

And CANCER is the remnant of that immortality switch being turned off, but even HE in all HIS Superiorness FUCKED IT UP, and sometimes nature doesn't want to obey HIS dictates, and we end up with a wholly new and horrendous way to perish.

These two things are not quite the same but very closely related.

One of the ways the body protects against cancer is to downregulate cell proliferation as you age as well as the hormones that are involved in the process. Men and women have lower testosterone and estrogen, leading to weaker bones or muscles. Eventually, even if you are still breathing, life is too difficult to do anything and obviously being indefinitely infirm is not our goal.

However, if you have the ability to "cure" cancer you open up the window to stem cell therapy. One of the major problems of playing with stem cells and promoting their growth in the body (and thus repair of tissue) is the trade-off that we have evolved to balance with cancer. If you are no longer worried about cancer, you have a vastly improved ability to repair the body the way it repaired itself as a young person - often bouncing back stronger than before.





BTW I am getting a PhD working on cancer therapy and in particular modes of treatment that open the door to expansive use of stem cell therapy for enhanced human longevity.

You are correct in theory. We WERE/ARE created to be immortal. But not these bodies, in this state (that is environment - earth). TOo much pollution, injury, illness has come upon it.

The perfect plan, the plan of GOD was for us to live forever in our bodies, on this earth. But sin and disease has polluted it.

We will live forever in a NEW "heaven and a new earth," someday.

The secret to physical immortality is already well-known in Eastern gnostic traditions. It has to do with conserving sexual energy. For men this means stop throwing the white stuff away.

That was exactly my thought! Imagine the types of people that would have the fastest access to living forever because of wealth and power... and then think about how new technologies have a tendency to fail the first few times around. Science is fascinating but will most likely be our downfall.

dude, from the extensive stuff I have seen and read, cancer is your body's adaptation to keep you alive longer, while it deals with a toxin or virus that might otherwise kill you in hours or days...

often they find toxin/virus within cell...

then there is the fact that cancer does not survive in a high pH and oxygenated environment... btw, there is 50% more oxygen in air trapped in fossilized amber...

the creation is still falling... species dying, cancer spreading...

BUT, if you take care of your body as a temple, you can heal any cancer and prevent most, praise Jah!

Excellent point. We came here for experience, not to live forever. Those who believe and want immortality don't believe there are other worlds, or there is God. Those always looking for immortality have a deep rooted feeling: fear of death. They are the ones always going to doctors, or check-ups, read about new discoveries and treatments.
