Hello, OP. After reading your story I have concluded that you live today as a victim of pre programming by parents, baby sitters, or other religious fanatics who conjure up similar stories.

Have you heard that even an unborn baby, carried in Its mother´s womb, can get programmed by reading to It, or talking to It?

Then, thee is the genetic predisposition associated with Memes that get passed down just as DNA is passed on. Memes are thoughts and ideas that are passed along to babies, and this sounds like something that has been in your family for a long, long time, i.e., the suggestion that Satan is the Devil who comes to take "his own" to some place of tormet, or Hell!

Now, nothing I can write here is going to change your mind that no such place exists save that in the mind, but the mind can get renewed just like a body can. How? One can start by realizing that even existing DNA can get altered thorugh deep contemplation, meditation, prayer, or by whatever term you choose to give it.

If you believe that God is Light, and that God made Human kind in "His" image, then It would naturally follow that humahkind is also Light, and it is This LIGHT that effects a change to alter the mutant DNA, and then of course drive out the destructive ideas (Memes) from ones subconscious mind.
