Incorrect.
When someone accuses another of being a liar they are referring to one instance, they are not referring to if they've lied within their life-time or not.
Unless of course you're referring to a compulsive liar.
Please learn the context in which words are used before trying to sound clever.
Quoting: Stocking Eats Cake You are the one who is "incorrect" hon... The word "Liar" simply means "a person who lies". It makes NO REFERENCE to a singular event as you erroneously contend. If you do want to specifically reference a singular event, then you would say, "you are lying"... Not "You are a liar". Now saying "You are lying" may (or may not be true) in a case by case basis. But calling someone a "Liar" is ALWAYS true, under ANY circumstances, which was my entire point. Which you seem to have missed. Quoting: Anonymous Coward 7773856 If I got into a fight once or twice in my entire life when I otherwise never lay a finger on anybody does that make me a fighter?
