I am am Ham, I can assure you can't legally transmit over the Ham bands without taking the tests and getting the FCC license. It's a cool hobby. Takes a lot of studying for each test, and getting your rig and antenna set up is a bit of a bitch, but worth it in the end. I have a Kenwood TS-480. |
