All clear here in the middle of Nashville, East TN get ready it's coming fast

Tuscaloosa is wide awake watching this I hope. After last year I dont see how they couldnt...

Tornado just blew over my hometown of Nashville. Winds got up to 80-mph, a lot of downed trees, and now I read where some storm spotters are measuring the rainfall at about 12-inches per hour. One of my friend's big hay barn got ripped to shreds outside of Nashville. I'm just thankful that everyone is okay.

I love weather too but after a hurricane and a tornado, I would rather watch them on t.v. now.

They said only one bale of hay was left where that barn had been. Sorry for your friend! We are all clear here in Nashville now.

A lot of downed trees is more than likely just straight-line winds; too soon to tell if it was a tornado or not. Im watching it on several radars and yeah, y'all got a good punch up there.

Im getting nervous about Tuscaloosa down in Alabama. They've got a warned cell to their west...

I mean, there is a cell SE of the town but, by a good distance...

My best friend had about a weather radio earlier today and had it set so an alarm would go off in case any major storm was headed their way but I heard that the tornado sirens went off all over Nashville anyway. My brother and sister-in-law live in Bellevue and my best friend and her husband live in Bellevue as well. What's the damage like in your part of Nashville, hopefully none at all.

I just stepped outside and the sirens are off now.

TWO tornado warned cells near Tuscaloosa, one to the west, the other south and west...

One of my friends and her husband live in Memphis and she's reporting that they're okay, this is good news.

Yeah, I hope everyone makes it out of these storms okay or at least with little damage as possible.

After last year involving the Birmingham/Tuscaloosa storms, yeah, they dont need this, but Tuscaloosa right now is under the gun. 2 warned cells very close to the town. Another warning just came over their NOAA radio...

I'm in Knoxville and nothing here yet. No wind, rain or anything. Well, just heard a faint thunder in the distance. Can see on radar its about to hit.
