I don't think he would, in fact I think God would move upon the hearts of these people even without their knowledge and present this story in a remarkable way.

Concerning Moses being meek, well I think that was true after his 40 yrs of exile:(wilderness / brokenness experience)...I don't think he was too meek before that...The story indicates that he tried to lead the people, thinking they would understand he was the deliverer.

When God appeared to him, he was a much different man than when he ran from Egypt...

There is a wonderful book about Moses by a woman name "Ellen Gunderson Traylor"...She is a biblical historian, who writes from what is known, and fills in the story to complete a master piece...

Her story about Samson was, well I hate to admit it, it made me weep...I was so impressed with that book I phoned her and asked her how she wrote that book, as if she herself "KNEW" Samson's struggles as a man. She said she had raised 3 sons, and had been married for so many years, that it just seemed to flow... If you have struggles as a man...I would encourage you to read it.

Sounds like another movie glorifying the people of God rather than God Himself.

I'll be really surprised if the Egyptians are depicted as violent blondes in this movie. Odds are they will look more or less just like whatever actors get cast as Jewish people (or at least made up to look as such), which is to say Semitic.
