I wouldn't discount those Iranian subs and their "HOOT" torpedoes. All they have to do is get lucky once.
Yup, we have plenty with with which to target their navy but it's only a part of the things we need be concerned about.

A stealth attack will not be possible as they will have the support of Russian and Chinese eyes in the sky. It's the use it or loose it scenario

Yeah they will be destroyed like Iraq in the long run but if they can manage to get 10% of their missiles to target there will be an unacceptable impact on oil terminals, Israel and US forces in the region. Iran's strength is in their missile deterrence and the breadth of their country.

Factor in the unknowns like Israel China Russia and Pakistan Syria Lebanon Hamas...who knows

I don't think we can stand high fuel prices. Our quality of life will change forever if this happens. Yup their navy will be at the bottom of the sea but not without a cost.
