Soccer is the lamest game. Lower scoring than any other.

All the cheering is usually when they MISS a shot. A shot at a fucking enormous goal, yet they almost always MISS.

Any other game everyone would be screaming, "YOU SUCK!" when they miss the goal. In soccer, if they didn't cheer every time they miss, well, it would be pretty silent. "Woah, he ALMOST scored there..."

In some places they use rocks instead of soccer balls. Bounce em off their head. Knocks the sense right out of em, so much so that they can't even speak English.

Maybe this is the reason why soccer is so popular in Norway, Denmark, Sweden, Qatar, Switzerland, Netherlands and so many countries with a GDP per capita HIGHER than that of the USA...

Dunno about what goes down in Qatar, but they lay a lot of hockey in those Euro countries too. Hockey is probably the most expensive sport. First you need to be able to maintain a rink, complete with Zamboni machine,then there's all the skates and sticks and pads...and I don't even like hockey.

Soccer is MORE popular than hockey in Norway, Denmark, and Sweden. And in Switzerland and Netherlands as well.

Even the Chinese are starting to freak out about soccer now! The Chinese soccer league now has players of international level, and it's very popular on TV.


The only countries in the world that are not CRAZY about football are: USA, Canada, Australia, New Zealand, India and Pakistan.

If the world loves soccer because the world is "poor", so, why soccer is NOT popular in India, that has a huge poor population?


India is one of the only six countries in the world where soccer is not popular. They love cricket there.

It's not just the fact it's easily accessible, it's the beautiful simplicity of the game (notwithstanding the offside rule)

American Football? WTF is that? It's ridiculously complicated, has plays that last a few seconds and requires massive amounts of body armour.

Any action is short-lived before bing rudely interrupted by a constant stream of advertising.

Too much hoopla and not enough action for my liking.

Rugby is much more entertaining, more physically demanding and is for real hard men, not steroid infused meathead posers wearing silly body armour who stand around doing the square root of fuck all most of the time.
