I love this post, and the doc had some thought-provoking ideas that bring into question the dangerous current climate of the medical profession and corrupt practices of the FDA, but there are a couple things that make me wonder if he's being fully truthful.

First, i'd like to see some evidence that table salt is 1/3 glass and 1/3 sand. I can't find ANY proof of that anywhere. There are additives in it for sure, but large parts of glass and sand? I don't know about that.

Second, cholesterol aids in the creation of cell MEMBRANES, not cells themselves. The membranes help the cells communicate with each other, and cholesterol plays a vital role in their health, but the doctor is saying that cells are "87% cholesterol AND cholesterol can rebuild brand new cells." That isn't how cell biology works. Cholesterol plays more of a role than DNA and RNA?

Just some things to think about. I could be wrong about all of this, but these are my concerns nonetheless. Either way, the FDA has become increasingly corrupt, and I think we can all agree that they most likely put corporate profits ahead of the people's best interests (like so many agencies and legislators do these days).

I knewo 2 people that had cancer was healed by a raw vegan diet, lived to be in their late 90's never had cancer return. I think that it's well understood by now (for all the followers of this thread) that there are things that acidify and things that alkalize your blood. It's also understood that malnutrition can compromise the human's immune system. The baking soda concoction is meant to be as a meal replacement so you are consuming less foods that deposit less acidic ash in your cells. Simple as that. The problem is that sodium bicarbonate is devoid of any nutrition. In the plant kingdom there are a plethora of highly alkalizing produce: tomato, watermelon and chiefly all winter fruits such as lemon, lime, orange, and grapefruit. Not only do these fruits and vegetables provide alkaline ash, but also top tier nutrition for your wellbeing. I am not debating the perceived powers of baking soda, but I am debating the logical choice to chose baking soda over a simple healthy lifestyle subsiding on fresh fruits, vegetables, nuts and earth's abundance. I cannot fathom why anyone would drink an unpalatable potion like maple syrup and baking soda over a glass of fresh squeezed orange juice. It boggles my mind. Man is intrigued by the grotesque and unknown, applying fantastical virtues to things that in reality are quite abominable. Just remember that throughout history the medical consensus whether mainstream or underground have proposed the most outrageous remedies for disease; like bloodletting and absence of water during a fever. I'm sure that baking soda to cure cancer will soon be the laughing stock of future generations.

dear sir, your post is very argumentative and I don´t want to oppose you on the worthyness of organic food.

the maple-bicarbonate is for terminate ill people with cancer or people like me who have/had a toenail fungus or any kind of funghi in the body.

maple-bicarbonate killed the fungus (psioriasis) in just one oral appliance. it dried within two days and fell off.

you have to be witness, maybe my body pH was way to alcalic because i took a whole teaspoon of this stuff but i didn´t feel any negative side efects.

Who gives a crap how it works or how the body recognizes it or whatever. The point is the baking soda and maple SYRUP works. I've seen it first hand and it can't hurt to try it.

Will it work for absolutely every cancer victim? I doubt it, but it is worth a shot.

Indeed I know of the virtues of modern medicine. During my youth I had a terrible bout of athlete's foot and the cremes could do nothing for it. Luckily I had a Chinese herb doctor as a neighbor and he prescribed a foot soaked that burned like hell but did the job. After a few applications my chronic athlete's foot resided. It has not come back since. Medicine is a thing I've lay witness to. I'm just concerned about the overall message of this thread. There's very little talk about preventative medicine. What of those that are not sick? How do they stave away cancer? The message should that both sick and well live a healthy lifestyle. Those sick will get well and those well will stay well. I feel as though this thread speaks of the virtues of baking soda and none of the virtues of personal responsibility. It's a shame that health is addressed only when one becomes sick and then drastic measures are taken.

I doubt if anyone would argue against a healthy lifestyle. I agree being vegan and eating only raw and organic vegetables and fruits is the best way to maintain an alkaline balance and avoid and even cure/reverse cancer. But many many many people love their fat and fried meat. I just ate two pieces of cold fried chicken for lunch. Yes, bean sprouts on whole wheat would have been a better choice but hardly tastier.

I read "The pH-Miracle" a few years ago, and we've been using baking soda in our drinking water since then. Seldom sick and the water tastes good! We're adding Himalyan salt too.

there was a litle girl in Portugal that was cured in Germany last year, following a "non traditional" approach - no chemicals on her, and she is now cured.
