This was a great movie and I do recommend it to all glpers that have an attention span long enough to absorb it.

There are quite a few clues in the movie as well.

Yes, 1-2 scenes are drawn too long, but the rest is excellent.

wile prepping for it was ok iwould of loved a longer ending though with the sheep begging to get in

Take shelter was flim In lagrange Ohio On bigs road.. I live 5 min from the place they shoot the movie.. I build a bomb shelter my self so I can be ready for the poler shift.

i liked it but was sort of disappointed with the ending....

Saw it a few weeks ago..I enjoyed it..reminded me of me..except Im female..lol

Its not what you expect.

My question for all you who think you can survive whats going to happen(if it happens) is : Who exactly do you think is going to manage all the nuclear facilities around the world?

All it takes is an emp or big blast from the sun, which we are expecting at any time. and then its just the count down to when the diesel generators die off. So even if you survived the first few weeks of hell on earth, you cant escape the radiation- it WILL out last you!

I enjoyed it and suspected the ending. I wonder if I am right in real life? I hope not.

Just watched it. Good movie. Give it a 9 out of 10. Hope the brother takes care of the poor dog though.

Good movie.. wasn't wild about the ending though.

There were some scenes where I got goosebumps: I have seen almost the same cloud, almost as big group of birds flying similar way- in reality.
And I know for sure I am sane.

My guess that they ran out of money at some point
