As a diabetic, I totally believe that environmental toxins cause damage to the endocrine system and then the person's body cannot process food properly. There is a bad attitude toward diabetics in this country -- mostly encouraged by the health insurance industry -- that diabetics are responsible for their disease. Yes, when you become diabetic, your body has trouble processing food, however, IT IS CAUSED BY THE DISEASE, NOT BY THE PERSON SUFFERING FROM DIABETES. Even if I eat NOTHING AT ALL, my blood sugar can shoot up to over 500. I never said diabetics were bad people, but some diabetics bring it on themselves by diet (a lot of overweight people have diabetes) or from alcohol ( jacks up the pancreas and causes diabetes in some) and others get it by no fault of their own. I would need more proof that would back up that diabetes are caused by mercury toxicity not saying its not possible but I just never heard of that before. Well, maybe you will be exposed to some environmental toxin that will cause you to become diabetic and then you will believe. We can only hope. Sensitive!Hit a nerve!
