yea youre right. this is just such an obvious path around the failed bill. what i find apalling is this... in this day and age i think it is more of an invasion of privacy to record and go through my internet content than it would be to go through my house.

dont take me wrong. i am boring and they wouldnt find anything (except the occasional walking dead episode). but my browsing history would tell what my finance info is (i dont even have hard copies of most of that in my home). they could tell even what kind of mood i was in daily since that dictates my internet traffic. these are just a few dumb examples but this is so much worse than the common sheep seem to realise or there would be a much larger outcry.

Yeah, the Canadian Government was genius in re-tooling the legislation towards this and now the rest of the world is catching on. With this renaming scheme, they should be able to push any kind of surveillance through.
