Easy Way to Metaphysics

I was wondering, whats a good method of learning metaphysics to apply on a practical level or whats a good book to read?

I want to learn the basic concepts/rules and how to use them to my advantage. Now i'm not trying to be selfish or harm people but i'm trying to uplift myself and improve my way of life so that in turn i may help and improve the lives of others. So by helping me, you are helping the upliftment of others and in turn I will help people with the knowledge that I gain.

I know there are some smart people on here so i figured this might be a good place to ask for help.

Like the saying goes, "Ask and you shall receive," so I hope this works.
