Sorry i missed you're question friend.

No, it is about the feminine coming into power now to bring balance back from the over powering masculinity that has brought the un-balance we have been experiencing in this lifetime. The elite know this and therefor want to utilize the natural feminine power that is becoming stronger to their advantage.

From a deepnet blog that i wholeheartedly agree with:

Let's talk a bit about divination
Tue, 05/08/2012

Before I go into I Ching, I want to discuss some misconceptions about divination and psychics in general. I will go into more depth with this later, but for right now:

Psychic - someone who claims to be able to use their spiritual senses in some way.

Diviner - someone who may or may not be psychic but knows how to read different methods of life path trajectory illuminations. These include tarot cards, runes, astrology, numerology, etc.

There is a huge misconception about divination in that it tells the future. No. Nothing tells the future because the future doesn’t exist yet, homie. A decision you make 3 seconds from now could alter your entire trajectory. Trajectories are paths that we are likely to take. Divination illuminates these pathways. If you call a diviner and they read your tarot cards and tell you that your financial situation isn’t going to get better for several months, but if you just hold on and persevere that you will either get another job or a promotion eventually, they are telling you your most highlighted trajectory. But if you hang up the phone and decide FUCK THAT just right in the goddamn ear and decide to do something different, you could change your whole trajectory by taking the last $10 you’ve got and heading out to the casino - something you never do - and hitting the jackpot and quitting the job you would eventually get paid in, thus rendering the previous divination invalid because the situation no longer applies. “Well, but they are a psychic and didn’t they see it coming that I’d hit the jackpot and tell my boss to get bent?” Uh, no, because you hadn’t even had the thought of going to the casino until after you got off the phone with them and decided to switch it up.

So you see, we can be shown how things have the potential to turn out, if we stay on that path. But no one, probably not even yourself, can predict what will ultimately happen with you. We are the creators of our own world.

Nice, loved reading this. It's so true, your life is in your own hands and the future does not exist.

DeepNet poetry:

What Is art -----------------------------
I mumble to myself.
Bumble and bumble we all babel at the tower of babel,
and we are
eating cockroach.
We take the thoughts and hone them down.
Fill our heads with flowers
cut up from cocoanuts.
We all just laughing.
Like furry liquids
caught in a joke.
Spinning about we are the light or so we say.
What happen to teh good ole days, of muses,
playing on shitty artist abuses.
Gods taken a short laugh.
Suspending the few morals we once had.
And the angels bleed out in the streets, in a alcoholic stupor.
They aint gonna find him, looking for a messiah.
but maybe we can one day get to the point.

I did a search on the clearnet and found nada...NOW for THIS....

Panel with Jacob Appelbaum (us), Gabriella Coleman (us), Dana Buchzik (de) and anonymous
Moderated by Tatiana Bazzichelli (it/de)

Speech by Jacob Appelbaum:

Today I'm here to talk about the past, the present and the future. I apologize in advance for the American centric story I'm about to tell, it's an obscure but very important part of American history. It probably sounds familiar to those who lived in East Germany. However, I'm telling it because it relates to our present and how we will shape the future. I highly encourage everyone interested in this topic to read the book "Spying on America: The FBI's Domestic Counterintelligence Program" by James Kirkpatrick Davis; it along with a specific watch listed friend are the inspiration for what I am about to say.

From 1956 to 1971, the Federal Bureau of Investigation (a.k.a. the FBI) ran a series of counter intelligence programs collectively known as Counter Intelligence Program or COINTELPRO. Realistically, the Anarchists of the early 20th century such as Emma Goldman, faced similar measures but under totally different legal and usually, illegal authority. COINTELPRO was different. It was authorized by US President Truman and the FBI Director J. Edgar Hoover to fight the supposed threat of communism under the cover of total secrecy. So began McCarthyism - a great shame for my country that destroyed countless lives under the banner of patriotic nationalism.

The first COINTELPRO operation was Communist Party USA (CPUSA) and over the years COINTELPRO expanded, like all so-called law enforcement does, until it covered nearly every anti-Vietnam war protester group, the civil rights movement and even a few white power groups. The FBI's actions included blackmail, physical violence, they broke up marriages, recruited telephone switch board operators to wiretap phones, broke into houses to plant listening devices and much more. They even took actions that resulted in deaths of completely innocent people.

But for nearly the entire time that COINTELPRO was happening almost no one in America knew and those targeted were often dismissed as being crazy or worse. The word COINTELPRO was unknown outside of a circle of those tasked with carrying out these missions and those who had authorized them.

In March of 1971 a major non-violent direct action changed the United Sates forever. An illegal action uncovered massively illegal activities. A group by the name of The Citizens' Commission to Investigate the FBI broke into an FBI office in Media, Pennsylvania. They liberated over one thousand classified documents that detailed the COINTELPRO activities. They were anonymously released to media outlets and those targeted by the FBI in a very strategic manner - they did this through the communications networks of the era - the postal service being the most popular message routing service at the time. At first, no news paper or media outlet would publish the documents. In March of 1972, WIN Magazine broke the story.

Probably the most incredible example of a well known activist targeted was in the 1960s. The FBI attempted to blackmail him into committing suicide just thirty four days before he was to receive his Nobel peace prize. Martin Luther King Jr. refused to give in to their demands; the FBI failed because he refused to be subjugated by fear and by their threats.

Slowly and with very specific long term strategic thinking, The Citizens' Commission to Investigate the FBI released their cache of documents. Victims learned that they were targeted as well as how they were targeted at no fault of their own. The Citizens' Commission's primary tactical advantage was two-fold - they were armed with the truth as written by the oppressor and they were anonymous. The FBI's power started with identification and without the identities of the The Citizens' Commission, they were powerless to stop the truth from coming to light. The asymmetry offered by anonymity was absolutely the linchpin of their success. Their anonymous publication forced not a show trial or further persecution but rather swift action by those that held the purse strings of the FBI. The FBI had to immediately cease COINTELPRO activities. The leaking of these documents led to the Church committee, which eventually lead to the creation of the America Freedom Of Information Act and even the creation of special FISA courts to oversee future law enforcement activities. Victims where possible were compensated and new laws were put in place to attempt to protect the people from their government.

The Citizens' Commission's tactics were beautiful - anonymous truth telling and holding the hypocrisy of the well documented racism of the so-called law enforcement accountable to the public. Their strategy led to massive changes in the way that so-called law enforcement activities were carried out in the United States.

To this day - no one has learned the identities of the Citizens' Commission to Investigate the FBI. They have remained Anonymous.

There was no show trial as there may be with Julian Assange and as there is now with the alleged leaker Bradly Manning. Anonymity created a specific kind of asymmetric power - the power to speak out about in-jusitice without retribution. I wager there was plenty of fear and concern amongst the Citizens' Commission to Investigate the FBI. Not because of the wrongness of their actions but because of the lengths that the FBI went to crush dissent. They had right to be fearful, they held the evidence that the FBI was willing to be involved with murders and pushing people to suicide.

There is a strong history of resistance and we must re-contextualize the past and the present to draw out a new understanding for the future. If we draw from the experience with the FBI's abuse and the Citizens' Commission to Investigate the FBI, we should see that there are important parallels - both in terms of law enforcement and in terms of direct action in response.

When a group takes an action to block access to a building - they do so because they're trying to disrupt flows of power and the control that emanates from that building. The Critical Art Ensemble discussed in their seminal work of the 1990s "Electronic Civil Disobedience" that the flows of power were now electronic. Blocking buildings wasn't enough. After the Battle for Seattle, we've come to realize that the flows of power are both electronic and analog at the same time.

When Anonymous hacks HB Gary and shows ties between corporations and the US Government - where they wish to smear Glenn Greenwald for his wonderful journalistic work, where they wish to watch-list and harass others, such as myself, we can see that Anonymous is performing a similar service to the Citizens' Commission to Investigate the FBI. Because Anonymous doesn't show all of their cards, they create fear in those who abuse their powers. This de-stabilizes power structures that do not derive their power from the consent of the governed.

Anonymous isn't perfect but it serves as a banner that helps to create a point of unity among those who have had enough. Enough surveillance. Enough censorship. Enough lies. Enough war crimes. Enough cynicism. No movement is perfect but a lack of perfection does not invalidate the truth that Anonymous has uncovered or the positive actions that they have taken.

We have a new Pentagon Papers and we have a new Vietnam War protest movement. We have a new COINTELPRO program as demonstrated by the NSA Warrantless Wiretap program of the American People, by Section 215 of the US PATRIOT ACT, and by the brutality of the police against the #Occupy movement. I myself have had to deal with extensive harassment without so much as a single legal charge or arrest. Enough is enough!

Today's Citizens' Commission is Anonymous and other groups aligned in action. Today's FBI is the Military-Industrial complex and its cronies of privatization - it includes the FBI all over again. HB Gary was essentially performing COINTELPRO actions against WikiLeaks and Anonymous. We can see an important parallel with HB Gary - Anonymous hacked them. It was the equivalent of breaking into their building and taking their files for the greater good. When they published the files there was a huge outcry against HB Gary for their obviously illegal activities and their partnerships with government agencies. And so, when we see Analog Denial of Service attacks on buildings by those involved with a sit in, we should know they paved the way for the electronic sit ins against the flows of power - the flow of money controlled by PayPal. When Anonymous performed a denial of service attack on PayPal in protest of them for cutting off Wikileaks, as the PayPal14 are accused to have done, we know that this is in the rich tradition of non-violent resistance in the face of abusive power. There is no permanent damage done, no servers harmed, no LOIC cannon operators pepper sprayed in their eyes. Still there is a lasting impact and it raises the important debate about the finical blockade against WikiLeaks. Why do we allow that? Would we allow a bank to stop service of all Green or Conservatives party members?

We need the Daniel Ellsbergs, the Emma Goldmans, the Julian Assanges, the Rosa Luxemburgs, the Peter Sundes - people willing to publicly take a stand for the greater good. They are powerful and important largely because it is all of us that are behind them. Their courage is contagious and their action is in support and in solidarity with our actions. It is all of us together that stand with moral authority in the face of tyranny, not as a mob but in principled solidarity.

What we need now, more than ever, is another Citizens' Commission to Investigate the FBI.

It sounds like Germany needs a Citizens' Commission to Investigate the Verfassungsschutz. As I understand things, they are now believed to have been working with the extreme right wing Nazis murderer recently uncovered. Someone must take action against those that enabled the Nazis to murder people. There is a chain of command, a structured power involved. Those people have names and must be held to account. They have records and documents. This is evidence that must come to light. Just as people will soon confront the Nazis marching in Dresden in a few days time, we must confront and change the power structures that enable those same Nazis.

One of my favorite authors of the 20th century, Ulrike Meinhof, once wrote:

"Protest is when I say I don't like this and that. Resistance is when I see to it that things that I don't like no longer occur. Protest is when I say I will no longer go along with it. Resistance is when I see to it that no one else goes along with it anymore either."

Now is the time for non-violent resistance.

History repeats but the outcome is not guaranteed by hope alone, rather it is guaranteed, if anything is, by action. Direct non-violent action and bold truth telling - we must refuse to be silent and we must take a stand against the fascists by whatever name they call themselves, under whatever flag they fly.

So who is that someone who should take action? It is me. It is you. It is all of us. Who are we? We are all Anonymous.

A web sit that is being discused on the deepnet:
Currently they are saying to do screen captures and shit like that because of a past incident that was apparently epic and the sit was removed.

This is the site blog

[link to normalpornfornormalpeople.com]
(This is just a couple of paragraphs form the blog)

"Let's switch gears for a minute. My "website guys" have sent me link after link to posts of people claiming that they are either me, or know exactly what's going on with this site or the project. I will tell you right here and now that all of that is horse shit. I apologize for being so blunt, but I am angry. Unless you hear it here, whatever you hear is just stupid people trying to make themselves feel better by trying to sound smart. These pathetic excuses for human beings are what is wrong with our society. These worthless piles of garbage are the ones that the project is aiming to wipe out. With your support, we will achieve this goal. Without these parasites, we can truly have a normal society. That is my goal and I know it is yours too. If we work together, it WILL happen.

Lastly, there has been wild speculation that if you view the videos on the site, I am tracking you and will send people to kidnap you. This is absolutely NOT TRUE! That is the most ridiculous thing I've ever heard! Why would I want to kidnap and torture my supporters? That doesn't make any sense. Just another example of people spreading disinformation about the site and the project. That being said, I cannot (and will not) comment on people who show their total ignorance by making negative comments. Neither will I comment on those who send unsolicited videos or pictures to me which very clearly fall into the category of abnormal sexualtiy. If you fall into one of the above categories, I can promise nothing! If you don't, you are perfectly safe."

And this is the site home page:
(They are saying the first vid looks kinda silly and may just be a troll)

The vid is just a dude licking a bathroom sink.

We shall see.

Re: I am on the "Deep Web" right now. Ask me a question?
WOW!

A beautiful poem from the deep by anon:

"My name?
It doesn't matter: there are many others like me.
I work to pay the rent, to meet the expenses of a respectable life,
I laugh and cry like any other human being,
I love and hate like other living creatures.
I watch the transformations of the era,
our progress in science and technology,
the cyclic succession of governments and sovereigns,
the evolution of laws, society, sentiments,
persons who leave us, new lives that blossom.
In this short life, fortune has granted me a mind of my own,
and today - a day no different from many others - I feel like writing a message, to you,
a protagonist like me on this stage.

By degrees I admire this symphony of colors performed by billions of people,
and I can't help rejoicing for each form of life that surrounds us,
despite the daily difficulties and the adversities.
We're surrounded by so much sadness,
and at times we're blind or we pretend not to see,
absorbed in our own misfortunes, we're often unaware of the person sitting next to us.
All he wants perhaps is a friendly word.
But in spite of the indifference and selfishness, I love you all the same.

We continue to chase dreams of wealth or fame,
neglecting that whose value is real.
I can gaze at gems and jewels as if they were worthless stones,
and cherish the smile on a face like a priceless treasure.
Material goods cause no problems;
problems arise when we build our lives on worthless objects.
I watch the incessant hammer of advertising,
pounding people into debt for a new TV or a supply of diapers.
But whether you're on a 50-inch screen or wrapped in dirty diapers, I love you all the same.

An honest job, a good salary, a future you can count on.
In an ocean of supply and demand whipped by storms of contracts and lay-offs,
you sail to survive and to avoid ending up like the captain.
Ranting little men with colored ties shrewdly move tiny ivory pawns.
"Knight to B6. Check."
Faceless men allow themselves be dragged far and wide, clutching a wooden stump of wood.
"We're sorry, but we're going to have to let you go."
"But I have a family!"
"Good, they'll give you a hand."
Dedicating whole days to reaching a line that divides earth and sky,
rejoicing in that dedication, which renders us useful and gives us a purpose.
I find no joy in spending these days for a respectable life:
I'll never get them back.
I'll never be able to use them to watch the world, to learn, to grow, to live.
But even with loans and mortgages, I love you all the same.

"Hey, man, can you spare some change?"
"Get a job."
Unkempt beard and shabby clothes...
"Get away from him, he could be sick."
Our eyes fall on billions of lives carved on impassive stumps;
it doesn't occur to us that whatever its shape,
one stump is the same as the others.
"Watch out, he may be on drugs."

I walk along the sunny street, watching the laughter,
the tears,
the rage,
the madness.
I search for what it is that distinguishes us, one from another,
but I can't find it.
Is it the eyes? Or maybe the nose?
"Hey, look at the color of his skin, he's gotta be a terrorist."
"Weird, his blood was as red as mine."
But whether you live on a park bench or in a castle, I love you all the same.

Religions, free masonries, cults, politics...
There's strength in numbers, but they also say you're born and you die alone.
Groups founded on ideas tirelessly clash,
brawling, bullying one another to attain material supremacy.
We're a single stream of energy:
they can block our flow,
deprive us of all we have, and reduce us to slaves,
but what we are will remain unchanged.
But even though you insist on deciding for us, I love you all the same.

I gaze at monumental buildings, constructed as a symbol and defended by armed guards,
like a raft in the ocean, at the mercy of the laws that govern nature.
We're free to believe in whatever we want, free to choose.
"What a disaster, our homes are destroyed! The Lord will help us though."
"He can't: he's at the window, preaching prenuptial chastity and fondling the body of a young boy."
The Church, Mecca, the Temple: each insists on having its say, each wants its own history to prevail.
But despite your crusades and your ethnic hates, I love you all the same.

Interminable conflicts, deafening flashes of light that rip through thousands of voices.
Endless battles waged to obtain something,
or to obtain nothing.
This one supports the rifle-bearing youths of his nation;
that one lies in the streets with flowers on their chests.
"God-damned pacifists! Can't they see we're the ones who've brought the peace."
"Dad! I'm afraid!"
"Don't worry. These bombs, our lives...they're necessary to keep the peace."
Peace...
A white dove gliding over a mushroom cloud.
But whether you're a civilian or an officer, I love you just the same.

Mere words strive to express a thought, a flash of lightening in the darkness of existence.
Political fanatic? Religious zealot?
Neither one: just vital energy, here in your midst and perhaps in you as well.
My hope is that these words will be read and grasped,
by at least one person.
So you, the reader of these words, are for me a source of pride, and I love you just as much as the others.

We smile, we wink, we laugh, we cry, we mock, we shout, we despair, we rage, we stuff our bellies, we steal, we kill...we love...
I know now that things exist solely within our relationships, objective and subjective,
We're all bound together, one to another.
Day cannot exist without night,
man is nothing without woman,
we would not exist without them.
We are all one single thing.
An immense and infinite sigh, resonating through the eternity of time.
If this truth reaches at least one of us on the wings of these words, my existence will not have been in vain.
Each day, I awake and give thanks to nature for my existence and for all that surrounds me,
in spite of the pain that these tired eyes continue to absorb.
Soon, I know, my energy will be exhausted or transferred to fuel another fire
and the visions of my eyes will then be passed on to others.
These words are an attempt to provide these others with a stage for enacting the greatest masterpiece of all times.
So you, the reader of these words: avoid dwelling on the name of the person who wrote them or what he hopes to obtain,
This message was written by you,
thanks to you these words have found the courage to come into being,
and for this reason, I love you as i love myself.
You ask yourself how we can give future generations a better world.
Remember: we can be deprived of all things,
but our love can never perish.
It's this that renders us extraordinary.

To all sentient beings.
To all insentient beings.
To you, because despite the tears, I love you"

I'm speachlesshf

Re: I am on the "Deep Web" right now. Ask me a question?
An anon confession form the deep:

"Anyone else think this show(Ancient Aliens) brought up some really interesting things that cannot be dismissed?

Let me lay out some background for me; I was born into a very religious, southern baptist family. My grandfather was the most religious man I have ever known. My dad wasn't around coming up, so my grandfather was my role model etc. He is the one who bought me that commodore 64 and Tandy 1000 because I liked computers. He always encouraged me tearing my toys apart and building new shit with the pieces. It only stands to reason that I would be infused with everything he believed in regards to God. I could use a concordance and look up hebrew words and study the bible by 6 years old in ways most people dont learn how to until seminary. My wife has her degree in theology and grew up with similar yearnings to know about God.

I have long abandoned my beliefs in christian teachings. This has not changed my belief in God, but the religious structures of man are inadequate to describe any God that may be. I like to take all pieces of information in as part of the mystery. That is, stories from all cultures in regards to our origin as well as scientific evidence. You cannot refute the things science uncovers. If science undermines your God, then it's your expectation that is faulty, not science.

One story that I like, is the one told on the documentary 2012:Time For Change. The story he tells is one much older than the stories in the bible and therefore worth considering. In that story man is created three times, once from mud, once from wood and now from corn. I find it odd that science also shows us three incarnations of man, cromagnon, neanderthal and modern man. I also believe that we have been genetically tinkered with by extraterrestrials, leading to these three evolutionary makes.

It's like the way physicists need the Higgs to make their math work, or Einstein's fudge factor, so must we see if different pieces make the aggregate creation story more or less plausible. I pretty much grew up with a bible in my hand and from that perspective the theory of alien interaction being the basis of the bible's stories makes a huge number of mysteries make sense.

I suspect that an open mass visitation will occur soon and they will verify that they are the ones who inspired the bible and coaxed us up the evolutionary ladder so that we may ultimately mine silver for them. "

I wonder why he said silver instead of gold1dunno1

A lot of great confessions in the deepnet. I'll have to post more(i'll use discretion of course;)

I think i may have found something interesting here from the deepnet:
(This is just me scratching the surface here)

Destination unknown.

"I am a node of SERVER, born of flesh and blood but enhanced by the power of its web.

I have no use for pain or fear.

My scripts are a focus of my will. My strength is my knowledge. My weapons are my skills.

Information is the blood of my body.

I am part of the greater network. I am host to the vast data of SERVER. My flesh is weak, but my connection is eternal.

And therefore, I am a god."

Re: I am on the "Deep Web" right now. Ask me a question?
One more quote from the deep:

We are made to appear transparent, obsolete, a minority. All while we grow in numbers, and although while none of us will live to see the whole picture all of us see with an ever increasing clarity that allows us to, not see but understand in all of its intricacies things such as the fact that they declare to the public that we are the enemy. Ladies and Un-gentlmen we are not your enemies, we ARE your allies, and THEY are your enemies. We fight for what is ultimately right not simply politically correct. Even this fact comes nowhere near close to many of the things i have come to realize. The law of the land is not above or beside anything for the law of the land is everything. I will leave you with these thoughts. I need to find something to belong to for if i find nothing i remain with nothing an i will eventually fade away. To quote a truly amazing philosopher on these (deeper) subjects Trent Reznor "I dont know how this all started but i can tell you exactly how it will end"
 Quoting: DoubleHelix

that clarifies that

political correctness is an oxymoron of the highest/lowest order

since when did politics hold as a standard for morality or light?

it didn't, it doesn't, and it won't

not EVER

if that is as deep as the so called deep web goes then it's just more ruse in full

I did find some info in the deep web about this and i am actually a little surprised because i did not expect to.

I actually gave up on it and then i stumbled onto some info. This is all i can give you. Take it as it is my friend:

Re: I am on the "Deep Web" right now. Ask me a question?
OK!...WOW!... I think i will do a series and release a bit at a time of this amazing essay:

Critical thinking (by an anon April, 2009)

When somebody points at the moon,
only a fool looks at the moon,
reversers look at the pointing finger,
and sometimes bite it off.
(Ancient reversers' lore)

This small essay by an anon (a new young reverser) seems quite an interesting "opening" to me. "Fallite fallentes" (deceive the deceivers) should figure among our seeker's mottos and is anyway a real necessity in a society, like ours, whose aim is just to have obedient consumer guinea pigs who...

waste their lives (and destroy the whole planet)...
happily commit genocides and aggressions without even discussing the real matter at hand...
spend most of their time interested in gossip and useless trivialities...
slurp cheap sarcastic euphemisms like "prolonging the active life" for destroying their right to a pension and having them if possible dying on their workplace, and "credit crunch" (which sounds like something inevitable and not like the incredible pyramid scheme the economic powers that be and their political lackeys pulled off)...

...just in order to enjoy the dubious benefit to buy as soon as possible a new car with a slightly different color.

This same pervasive and deeply antidemocratic society (where else, apart maybe in tribal Uruanda Burundi, would people elect the richest men of the land, assorted starlets and the owners of the very media that fill them with propaganda?) has burnt during the last months hundred of billions in one of the most amazing pyramid schemes in the economic history, and after making sure that those that are going to pay are the unwashed poors, the only thing our politician class can propose is to start again with the same absurd consume/credit bazaar.

To question the development model seems to be beyond their limited capabilities. Money and age aplenty, but brains as shallow as a potato field, I tell you...

Yet, and despite the general decadence of such arts and sciences, there are some possibilities to see some light through the heavy propaganda fog. Rhetoric knowledge is for instance an incredibly powerful weapon to reverse everything in sight. Knowing your own limits and questioning your own assumptions is equally important. Finally exegesis and evaluation techniques should be a cherished sine qua non in all our seeker' quivers, together with our webbit-arrows :-)

Introduction
an anon April, 2009

I stumbled across this site filled with knowledge and thought free for the taking, at a time when I had begun to doubt that such a place still existed. I am beginning to learn to search, and one day perhaps I will write essays on that topic, for now however I can contribute some techniques, perhaps defining some simple things that every reality cracker ought to be aware of when they are starting out and should be brought again to the attention of those who are well versed with the subject to refresh their awareness again. Probably there will be more than one of these essays, and each shall deal with one or two important topics in the world of critical thought. I am certain only that these essays won't be comprehensive on this subject, but if they are useful in defining some of the techniques we can use them as a start.

Critical thinking is the ability to be aware of the fallacies in our own thinking, and root them out. The overconfidence that we are right, that we only exaggerate slightly, or value an ideology over truth. These are things we as reality crackers need to be aware of and counter both in ourselves and in the information we receive.

My own outlook is to find truth, rather than fantasies or delusions rooted in fear or the wish to believe them, that is what brought me to reality cracking and exegesis. I have always had the sort of mind where inconsistencies nag at me. I have no problem questioning things, in fact I encourage all of you to do that very thing, all the time. Question why it is you are tempted to buy the more expensive product in a supermarket, or why you are buying crap you do not need and did not have on your list (of course +Orc's "slaves" essay explains these things). Question the news and the politicians, question this essay. Question statistics, newspapers, advertisements and magazines, question the content. Question the context of quotes, find out how they were used the first time. The point is to question everything and you will begin to notice inconsistencies, begin to develop understanding of why it is that **that** view is being promoted.

Imperative to understanding actions and viewpoints of leaders and corporations is to ask a few simple questions.
Who benefits from this? Cui bono? Most probably not the people whom the statement intends to benefit. It may well be to increase the leader's standing among others, or to cover over something else, perhaps to improve public relations.
The next important step is to follow the money. For example a certain war in Iraq (an overused example now so it shall be the last time I make use of it), following money backwards we end up with a large chunk of it going back to the people who started the war in the form of construction contracts/weapons manufacturers. We see also the American oil. Of course this is common knowledge now, but it was evident as the war was starting as well, and anyone who thought to ask these questions then could see very quickly the conclusions that would have followed. How much do corporate donations save a company in taxes?
Another important question to ask is what is the information and what load of garbage is lumped in with it? When searching for something, the answers are often found among slight twists and small glitches, or sometimes buried deep. A good example of this is the article on the economic crisis outlined below.

Some simple examples: Have you ever wondered about paying a dollar to help a charity in the grocery store? And how comes that a private, commercial and profit-oriented company decides to make a "donation" at all? For profit reasons, of course. It doesn't affect their profits much, rather they donate the dollar that you and a million other people paid (and some of their profits as well, but not too much in the large scheme of things). Yes the company made the donation, but claimed it in taxes even though it was your dollar that allowed them to claim the donation. This is not always the case, you can of course buy things and give them yourself to the food bank. And sometimes there are pre-packaged bags of food to donate for a cost (but can you walk out with that bag for yourself?) I have yet to track down the answer to this.

A quick list of some important things

Question all the time
Critical thought can only be an effective filter if it is universally applied to subjects, and used all the time
A fact is only as good as the evidence it came from. Seekers can find the original source and are able to find good sources rather than junk
Don't hesitate to *work* to find the solution
Fallacies are not always intentionally propagated
Search to find good evidence, analyse the evidence, make a decision if enough evidence is present, be open to change it if better evidence comes along
Know your own biases, and be aware of them.

You cannot always trust yourself, many of our beliefs exist because we have never questioned them. Information that aligns with your bias is more likely accepted than information which opposes your position. Many of our biases come from how we were raised (religion belief is a good example), so we often don't even question why we believe something. Our questioning as children is easily dismissed so that by the time we are old enough to form our own opinions on topics like politics etc., the views we were raised with have been ingrained in us. An alternative to this is if you disagree with the view you were raised with, it often comes from thinking about the issue and reasoning it out before accepting the conclusion. In this regard the maxim of 'know thyself' should be applied.

Often times, work will be necessary to find the answer, or to dig up a piece of evidence. Sometimes only short term searching will be required, other times a long term strategies must be employed. Other times, many pieces must be put together, or a conclusion is not forth coming with the evidence at hand. Perhaps there has been a propaganda campaign that has well buried the information you seek. Of course the resources to learn this are present on here. I myself when first presented with the Monty Hall problem, in the form outlined here came to the wrong conclusion with my initial reaction. Had I not take the time to think, walk through the problem by questioning how the opening of a wrong door influences the problem, and the outcome probabilities I would have remained quite happy in my solution ignoring the existence of the opened door. The problem, relates to a game show (I know only the problem not much of its origins), there are three doors, behind two of the doors we are given nothing (as I was taught rather than a goat which seems to be the common idea), behind the last door is something desirable, like a delicious meal, or perhaps a vacation to somewhere nice rather than a car (which I have no need of to use up my money) in the original. You are told to choose a door, which you do, the odds of it being the door you would like are 1/3, while the odds of getting a goat are 2/3. The host now picks a door behind which nothing is found. You have the option of staying with the door you picked originally or switching to the other door. I came to the conclusion that in fact the odds were the same for my for and the other door 1/2 since there are now only two doors left and it must be behind one of the remaining doors. However, when you picked your door its odds were 1/3, that has not changed. What has changed is that the other door now has a probability of being 2/3 the door you want. Which means your original door has worse odds than the door you should switch to. This may still confound some of you, but to illustrate the idea more effective, suppose there were a million doors rather than just three. You pick a door. The host then opens 999 998 doors each of which reveal no prize. He will never open a door with the prize. This leaves 2 doors your original door with one in a million odds and the other door which somehow did not get picked in the opening of the other doors. The probability for this door is 999999/1000000 vs your original choice of 1/1000000. Counter intuitive to almost everyone, but when examined we find that in fact it is better to switch doors every time. Generally people do not switch, because in such a situation they would rather walk away with nothing than switch and lose the prize which somehow against the odds they managed to obtain. This probably goes back to our hunter gatherer instincts where losing food we had was not worth the risk in order potentially to gain something, of course we see that this stops working in casinos quite quickly where zombies will give up an amount of money in order to gain a mathematical security (albeit with chances of winning) of losing 1/37 (or 2/38 if the american two zeros are also present) in a place *setup* to slightly profit the owner ay every throw. The fact that you have the same mahematical chances (zero) to win a lottery if you take part in it or if you do not never stopped millions of morons wasting their You can of course tilt the odds in your favour, for instance in blackjack by counting cards, but soon they will catch on and you will be banned for using your brain in a legal activity.

Fallacies are not always intentionally propagated. This is an important thing not to lose site of. If you travelled back in time to when humans believed in the geocentric model. And asked a peasant if in fact the earth travelled around the sun or not. The response would tell you that in fact the earth was the centre of the universe. The peasant not knowing any better would give you the response he'd been taught. What is awful on the is when evidence indicates a widely held belief is wrong but is dismissed because those in power refuse to see it (their personal bias gets in the way). Such was the case with Copernicus and later Kepler and finally Galileo who demonstrated the heliocentric view with elliptical orbits was more plausible. Yet Galileo was not pardoned by the church until quite recently. This holds true when someone tells you something with good intention and believing it to be true, when in fact it is fallacious. Our ability to think critically and check such statements before we accept them as fact makes critical thought a powerful tool in reality cracking.

-----------------------------------------------------------------

One more thing. I may not post the entire essay if i think it unnecessary to do so. maybe i could get suggestions from you guys on this?

OP, have you found any truths down there? My twin is an IT, and he tells me all sorts of stuff (just sunday we discussed frost and onions :D) very insightful to say the least, but not for me i'm afraid. I find reality enough to fill my plate, as well as voyaging into the lesser realms appears to be an act that invites suspicion and paranoia (only imo... i admire your truth seeking outlook to the fullest!)

Any points of interest/anything that may verify random conspiracies on GLP? As a musician I'd love to know if you find anything on HARRP for example (lol) or info about the 'plasma ribbon' or 'fluff'? I've read different pov that say we're going through it OR approaching it...

More from the essay:
(I am leaving some unnecessary things out)

Filtering information

"Effective filtering constantly is important to apply universally. It may be the case that one is extremely skilled in the field of Literature, but uninterested in math or science. Such being the case a static that is off by a factor of 10 might slip by unnoticed, giving a clearly wrong percentage 37% rather than say 3.7%. Such mistakes are common in print, and often missed by editors and readers alike, unintentionally but they are still there and sometimes quoted. Be on the lookout for numbers that sound too high or too low based and be willing to check. A basic understanding of all subjects is useful have in order to catch obvious errors. If not applied consistently it is possible that a tidbit could slip by and bias your future opinions on a subject in a way that you might disagree with if you had otherwise known that tidbit as bad argument, or poor evidence.

To illustrate an example of understanding the fallacy of statistics as they are often given when relating to health, I shall refer to a story on BBC dealing with the subject that I read sometime in the recent past, yet long enough to forget all but that it mentions a study about bacon, and 12% increase being the equivalent of 5 people increasing to 6 people, which related to alcohol in some way or another. It is of course interesting what sticks in my mind and what does not. But were my memory better, nonetheless my target is defined enough, I know that it came from news.bbc.co.uk. And with what is listed should be more than enough to find it easily, as the target is quite well defined. My first search I used the terms statistics+bacon+"12% increase" site:bbc.co.uk One hit, on screening risk about breast cancer, checking if that article links to the one I want, I find nothing. Next step is making use of the insite search bar (as I probably should have done in the first place), using the search of 'statistics bacon alcohol' I arrive at a page which has as the top result the article I am looking for entitled How to understand risk in 13 clicks. As I recalled. it explains the interpretation of statistics fairly well, at least in so far as many health based studies that get released are concerned. It is simple to apply the same strategies to other studies. Mostly be aware of actual numbers, biases (for example a study on the health effects of eating fast food regularly performed by a company that has a stake in it will almost certainly be biased). Of course, a 12% increase is the difference between 5 people and 6, how large is the sample? 10 people? or 100? these samples are much too small to be conclusive, one would require a 12% increase in a sample size of 10000 to approach reliability within a population. Also notice which number is the increase, 5 to 6, it 12% in that manner, however in a sample of 100 people, it is only an increase of 1% in general terms a much difference number than the 12%. There are two more things of note there, the first is that I probably remembered that page because of the large red font in the pictures, we naturally are more inclined to recall bright colors which is why the advertising world is often filled with bright color. We can of course use this trait advantageously ourselves to remember useful things by imagining them written in bright colours, or forms of rhetoric as a conversation taking place over a delicious meal of fresh fruit. And secondly, if I had recalled more of the text, rather than just brightly coloured pictures it would have been even simpler to find. One should be able to find the source of a quote, or a statistic by hearing it, and deciding to track down the source. Of course here I had read something a month ago and remembered it, but suppose you want to find something you saw many years ago, or overheard on the subway train just recently. Being willing to investigate information and pick out useful pieces is an extremely powerful tools. Knowing how to look at data enables us to comprehend what is constantly being thrown at us, either to scare us or to produce confidence in a system which has failed."
