PRIME TIME NEWS USES VERY STRONG LANGUAGE ABOUT 2012DA14!!!!!
One of the strongest statements the news can make is

"experts say" !!!!!!!!!!!!

I'm an advertising/ organizational communications major in college and this is a very strong statement.

I'm still picking my Jaw up off the floor.

Understand the news has to be careful with information that might disrupt the economy or civilization as a whole.

This might be the closest thing to disclosure the general public gets.

Get your things in order...

Don't worry about that Meteor. There are lots they can't see out there that can get us before that one comes around in February.

Worry about the date thats in front of you. December 21.2012. Keep your eye on the ball. Everybody and every civilization before us has left us a warning about this date. There is somthing too it all. Be prepared for the date at hand. Get ready if you haven't already done so.

Re: PRIME TIME NEWS USES VERY STRONG LANGUAGE ABOUT 2012DA14!!!!!
I guess my larger suggestion is not to scare people.

There is NOTHING special about this Dec. 21st except that it will be 12/21/12 which is cool.

The Mayan calendar ended weeks ago (they were too stupid to understand leap days) so relax. It has already passed.

Nostradamus never wrote ANYTHING in plain language, he used mysterious poetry.

There is no point driving marginally crazy people to suicide, just because it's fun in a Halloween kind of way.

If you really believe it, don't. It is nothing.

If you persist in scaring people, you are cruel or a fool and you deserve all you get Dec 22th. (just like after your last prediction of doom)

For real.

I believe that the Mayan calendar was based 100% on the movement of the stars and planets.

Leap years are based on a (modern) calendar that isn't.

So, what makes you think they were the "stupid" ones?

Re: PRIME TIME NEWS USES VERY STRONG LANGUAGE ABOUT 2012DA14!!!!!
I apologize if I was too judgmental. I sure do not feel that Mayan people are stupid, and I regret using the word. I have actually lived in a Mexican town (Tulum) with many super-nice Mayan decedents. I was lucky to have their hospitality and friendship.

Let me try again to say:

The ANCIENT Mayans (who made the calendar) were not stupid, they understood MANY aspects of astronomical movements over incredibly long durations.

One thing they did not understand, when they adopted that calendar (the Mesoamerican Long Count calendar usurped from the Olmec) was what everyone else missed until the Middle Ages... (wikipedia - Leap Day) "Earth makes a complete revolution around the sun in 365 days, 5 hours, 49 minutes, and 16 seconds"

Their calendar is made of whole days.

That was my criticism. I was wrong to call one of the most advanced cultures the world has seen, that word, and I apologize.

Here is my only reason to post; they ended their calendar because they believed the 5,125 year cycle would begin to repeat then. 2012, Dec. 21 is nowhere near the day their calendar ended. It has already happened. Dec 21 is just the real winter solstice, what the calendar re-starts on.

There are real people suffering.

Stress, anxiety, fear, depression and mental illness, who can not read predictions of apocalypse without taking it to heart.

The brilliant ancient Mayans never predicted the world would end with their big circular "long" calendar. They thought it would go on.

And we already know, they were right.

It doesn't matter who said what. The issue at hand, is those who plan for our deaths and spiritual captivity. THOSE have been starting since the first of this year.
1 Timothy 3:16 KJV
And without controversy great is the mystery of godliness: God was manifest in the flesh, justified in the Spirit, seen of angels, preached unto the Gentiles, believed on in the world, received up into glory.

Isaiah 9:6 KJV
For unto us a child is born, unto us a son is given: and the government shall be upon his shoulder: and his name shall be called Wonderful, Counsellor, The mighty God, The everlasting Father, The Prince of Peace.

Mark 16:16 KJV
He that believeth and is baptized shall be saved; but he that believeth not shall be damned.

Acts 2:38 KJV
Then Peter said unto them, Repent, and be baptized every one of you in the name of Jesus Christ for the remission of sins, and ye shall receive the gift of the Holy Ghost.

Romans 8:6-9 KJV
6) For to be carnally minded is death; but to be spiritually minded is life and peace.
7) Because the carnal mind is enmity against God: for it is not subject to the law of God, neither indeed can be.
8) So then they that are in the flesh cannot please God.
9) But ye are not in the flesh, but in the Spirit, if so be that the Spirit of God dwell in you. Now if any man have not the Spirit of Christ, he is none of his.

Matthew 15:8-9 KJV
8) This people draweth nigh unto me with their mouth, and honoureth me with their lips; but their heart is far from me.
9) But in vain they do worship me, teaching for doctrines the commandments of men.

Acts 5:29 KJV
Then Peter and the other apostles answered and said, We ought to obey God rather than men.

Re: PRIME TIME NEWS USES VERY STRONG LANGUAGE ABOUT 2012DA14!!!!!
Ohhhhh your signature is all that bible quotes...

You can't prove a thing is true by quoting the thing!!!

How did asteroid 2012DA14 information that turned to Mayan 2012 make you think you should send quotes from the new testament to "prove" believe in what's his name?

(no the bible quotes he adds to EVERYthing!)

Like if I wanted you to believe in Tom Sawyer I would quote Mark Twain. Anyway, never do that again.

(No. He added: something about people doing.. start of the year... something)

So?

Turns out there are two Mayan Calendars. Even more than that. So the lunar one does not take into account the leap days. Wikipedia says of the Long Calendar "The previous creation ended on a long count of 12.19.19.17.19. Another 12.19.19.17.19 will occur on December 20, 2012, followed by the start of the 14th b'ak'tun, 13.0.0.0.0, on December 21, 2012."

"To render December 21, 2012, as a doomsday event or moment of cosmic shifting, she says, is "a complete fabrication and a chance for a lot of people to cash in."[38] "There will be another cycle," says E. Wyllys Andrews V, director of the Tulane University Middle American Research Institute (MARI). "We know the Maya thought there was one before this, and that implies they were comfortable with the idea of another one after this."[39]"

I hope this can be reposted in a discussion about Mayan Calendar 2012!

Any other ideas about asteroid 2012DA14?
(which will NOT hit Earth)
