And I'm not a "suntard" by any means...but I know what the sun does, affects us...and just because we've not experienced "Sun Doom" yet, doesn't mean it'll never happen. Just like we've never had an event that visibly, globally, changed everything...doesn't mean it's not in the cards in the future. Just like most people live in places they swear they'll never get an Earthquake, because it hasn't happened. Doesn't mean it'll stay that way forever. Same with Tornadoes, and other natural disasters People's delusions on life...and their narrow minded thinking...amaze me. But then you'll see those same people, go rambling off on some tangent about some theories that don't have nearly the same credibility or evidence behind it. Or endless failed prediction threads...don't get me started on those. There needs to be a balance between fear mongering, swearing shit IS gonna happen for sure and always saying "This is It, This is Doom"...and the people completely ignoring what's going on, swearing shit will never happen. I know though, that it will never happen... because everyone has to think they're right. Religion, Politics, theories about the universe and how it works... everyone has their theory, and no matter what you say, in their mind, they're right. Real smart writing you done here, right on the mark, too. Bad things happen, that is not something knew, we have just not had it so bad. That is the thought pattern behind, it won't happen, it is called denial, it is a human way to avoid bad thoughts. Also they don't know what to do about something, they really can't do anything about. |
