I often wondered when I looked at cave paintings and early depictions of Saints etc . Was that circle drawn around their heads some type of helmet ? Was it a clear dome , like Polycarbonate that allowed them to breath in our Oxygen rich environment ? It is depicted as a halo around the Saints heads in early Christian art , was that a helmet ?

You know what, i am going to be the first to say that i really have no idea about the Jesus person/story/alien or myth.

The fact that so many people have a very wide variety of opinions, on who or what Jesus was tells me we still suffer from unknowing over anything else.

I don't think i can get to involved in events which took place thousands of years ago. Nobody can prove to me it would be worth my time to have a relationship with Jesus unless i comply with, or take seriously, the books written all that time ago.

I am not ridiculing the bible or Jesus by any means, i have read SOME bits which seem to ring true, but it is clear that as a species, our moral and spiritual compass is going north and south.

There are a few assumptions on this that destroy the whole premise.
The most important assumption is that Jesus actually existed. He did not-he was a conglomeration of myth people and events used by the Roman Empire to expand the reach of the Empire.
Emperor Constantine could have been guided by extraterrestrials to push for and create such a religion-that I can accept. Also acceptable is the belief that the new formed religion was an agent of mostly good.
But Jesus never was.
The Messiah of the jewish people never showed up. The word Christ has no roots in Hebrew.Or Latin. The Christ word comes from Merry Old England and the pagan religions there at the time.A beautiful way to incorporate the vast reaches of the Empire into a new imperial religion designed to keep the masses subservient to Rome.

All religions started after that event in the territories of the New Rome are off shoots of the Romans. I live in a muslim country -and these guys take this stuff personal-but Islam is in the same boat.

I tend to think the OP's post is not so far fetched. It's something i often wonder my self.

Linda Moulton Howe was alleged to have been shown a CIA briefing document that state's that was pretty much the case as well. There was a documentary about this somewhere which about the several attempts the government has attempted disclosure. Firt being with Disney and then again with Linda at the production company she was then working for.

Some of the artifacts found from 1000's of years ago certainly raises some questions. Where did they get these vision's of reptilian people for example from? They didn't have the Sci-Fi network back then.
