No one I know wants any of the others in, none in the GOP and certainly not Obama. But the brainwashing machine is on full spin cycle on msm. The big problem about not voting for Ron Paul is they will truly get what they deserve. But the rest of us don't deserve what's coming if O stays in or if any of the rest of them get in. I think this ship is going down and I don't want any of those status quo idiots in charge when it does. |

Anonymous Coward (OP) User ID: 4713064 United States 03/13/2012 08:07 PM Report Abusive Post Report Copyright Violation | Generally, the bulk of Ron Paul supporters are of this caliber. Quoting: Anonymous Coward 11861466 Full of anger, hatred and downright stupidity. They will immediately gravitate toward anyone who says they are not free (Ron Paul) -- Yet, they rarely truly understand what exactly would happen should he become president. This is why you have young, naive and very energetic people as the total makeup of the Ron Paul support. In retrospect, this is also why the older, wiser, more patient people do not endorse all of his ideas. When you have the people who have been studying politics their entire life putting no real interest in Ron Paul, and children who couldn't name 25 congressman and 10 senators supporting Ron Paul, that's gotta tell you something. Sure, Ron Paul provides some telling truths about large government minimizing our freedom. His solutions to these are archaic ideas that would send us back to the 1850's. You make it sound as though people who do not support Ron Paul hasn't listened to him, read about him, looked at his record. We have. Not agreeing with the direction he would take us, doesn't make us sheep. I would argue, that many of you children are the sheep as you follow the child-like mentality of the YouTube crowd who generally do like his message, his 'underdogness' but do not have any real capacity to understand where his solutions to his message would take us. Many people agree with his message about the state of our economy, and government. I just don't agree with his direction. Hell, half the time, he isn't even clear in exactly what he would do, just that 'the sky is falling' All politicians who are running for office do this, but at least they lay out 'plans' and you can clearly read them and make a determination of the plans. Ron Paul has no REAL plans. He is a doomsayer and is one of the more negative sounding people up on the stage. He doesn't offer any real hope or promise in his words. He threatens the entire voting core except college-aged children: "Elderly, Poor, Military, Disabled, etc" - He would flip their world upside down, and they wouldn't give him a chance. Since that's the bulk of voters, he just doesn't have a chance. My, oh my, what would happen to the poor and elderly? As Ron Paul has stated clearly on many occasions, phasing out welfare and Socialist Slavery are his lowest piority. And he would do so gradually on account of the dependancy those programs have fostered. Your anxious attachment to all the 'progress' of the 1913 coup, and requirement that any idea be vetted by "25 congressmen and 10 senators" are the hallmarks of a truly feeble mind. Paul has also said he would phase SS out gradually and thinks that those that have to stay in the program should receive at the very least 3 X what they now receive. The rest of the folks in this country would wind up with a million dollar retirement and as Paul has said, it is only fair that the average man have the same retirement as the congress and senate. All you old people who don't want a man like Paul that would actually care enough to give you enough to live on are insane. |

I will write him in if I have to, because there is no way in hell I'm voting for any of the corporate candidates. Another good website ya'll might enjoy is dailypaul.com Lots of people working on the Paul campaign post there. It's a good way to keep abreast of the latest happenings. I would love to see RP end the fed and the income tax, but even if he never got anything done but repeal the NDAA, the Patriot Act and Obamacare, and got rid of the TSA, the drones flying over American skies and pulled us out of all wars, I'd still be a happy camper. The economy is very important to me, but nothing is more urgent to me than restoring our civil liberties and ending the police state ASAP! |

We are so use to it being over by now, we forgot to read the rules. RP campaign HAS read the rules and the rest will be recorded in history. We are witnessing an event of a lifetime and quiet possibly the saving of the republic without a civil war. Romney will not win, the GOP has already lost and RP will be on the ticket in November. This is a must listen to if you are a delegate or supporter, do not be downtrodden, Paul has already won the whole thing !!! [link to ronpaulflix.com] Good for you. Ron Paul has been cheated everywhere he goes. If he is on the ticket, I as a Democrat, will vote for him. We need drastic change. I really want to see the end of the "Federal" (Private) Reserve Bank. Most of the young people I know don't bother to vote and are totally politically ignorant. I have been teaching them a lot in the last couple of years. I am also working on my father in law, who is 85 and likes Romney. Don't know if I can sway him, but I'm not giving up. |

The chance that oromney will be the gop nominee............now that IS 1 in a million. The way I see it after listening to the magic 18 minutes is this. Either Paul allows Romney the VP slot (Paul would never do it) Or Romney accepts a lessor position in the Paul administration Or.............. The GOP has (&*^% themselves out of the power position, the party is lost and the nation will now have a much needed third party which will absolutely blossom over night with new "Paul" candidates to take the congress, senate and Governorships. The new PLP, "Paul's Liberty Party" will take the country back to the original founders blueprint and freedom to make money and the end of tyranny will be realized. |
