Two ducks on front porch, what does it mean?

Ok so these two ducks have been coming recently to my front porch the last few weeks.
Some days they don't and some days they do.
Today they are here again and haven't left. I have fed them sometimes like bread pieces or like cereal..
Any reason why they have chose my house of all places?
There is a lake near by my house so I don't understand why my house?
