first off, when/why did the personality we currently identify with as being "who we are" incarnate? how did it originate? did the personality come before this current vessel? or is it a new manifestation arising as an aetheric imprint from
the accumulation of sense data after birth?

is our current incarnation the sum of multiple previous individual selves coalesced into a new psyche? or are 'we' simply animated by an ever-transforming neutral life force with no retention of memory of past experience?

what if we can have an effect on the way our future incarnations take shape?

perhaps the impressions we hold in our consciousness dictate the direction of our experience in a procession of dimensional phases, each feeding into the other in an infinite loop?
