Your link is correct, the triangle of life area in a structure. Now here's the part you may not agree with.

Search and Rescue teams from all over the world have always shown that survivors are found in the triangular pockets within collapsed buildings. Now the Red Cross is trying to get you killed by saying, duck and cower, which I feel is exactly what they want people to do ( duck and die ) so they can pull another Haiti Fiasco.

All that money given to red cross for so many disasters (911, Mexico city, Indonesia, Katrina, etc) and just look at how shitty all those places still are....I'd rather drive water and food myself to victims than to let any agency have my nickel to squander.

What I know about Cajon and areas north of Indio, is that Big Bear and wright wood will have a tough time getting off the mountain.

get off the mountain in Big Bear? I may be headed up that way from LA to avoid the tsunami when the San Andreas rips from the Gulf of California to the Salton Sea to the central valley.

which way to run when the freeways are packed? jus' thinkin' about it. but then, a big enough earthquake could move mountains too, I suppose.

In the northridge quake as well as landers, the road from San Berdo to Big Bear was closed for weeks from slides. We were prospecting northwest of BB Lake and had to get off the mountain using Old Woman Springs Hwy that leaves northbound from wrightwood....

I think I got that right, it was a lot of dirt roads we took to the east of BB Lake then across many broken highways and backroads to the 15. I just remember thinking that being up there was not fun trying to get back down.

The only time I've seen swarms like this (probably been watching these 'swarms' for a couple years is all) - but has always been associated with geothermal drilling.

I can't find ANYTHING on geothermal drilling in Indio.

I noticed a small swarm of unusual activity near Riverside last week and commented on it. But THIS - this is REALLY wierd - 3 earthquakes one day, 9 the next, 30 the next and 20 today so far - and this includes two 3.5 yesterday.

THIS IS CREEPY - VERY unusual indeed. Too close to that San Andreas fault line for comfort. Hope everyone has their preps in order. Hope the GLP effect helps us.

Get off the bridge? Evacuate from the tall rise building? Truly not much - and even if I did receive the text 1) would I open the text in a timely manner, and 2) would I even BELIEVE the text?

I live in Big Bear, staying right where I am. Have my supplies ready for the big one. I was here back when we had the last big one in the 90's and survived then, will survive this one too.

In 2010, just before Baja had their big one on Easter, they had a swarm just like this.

I'd say we are going to get hit, just be ready!

I don't know about geothermal drilling in Indio, but they are doing plenty around Salton Sea, which isn't too smart IMHO

Yes this would be normal activity at Salton Sea and also in Northern California they have geothermal drilling going on there too. But Indio? This is really really unusual activity. Hope everyone has supplies.

At 1201 PST we just had a 3.0 today. It was quiet for about 3 hours yesterday and then at 1300 PST the swarms started again.
Not sure, but I think we are going to get hit.

Have you guys seen global incident map and zoomed in on California ?, that is a consistent line right down the San Andreas.

I've seen alot of quake patterns in my time and I'm not claiming doom, but I know I haven't seen the last 3 days of quake patterns for California like we see now.

Actually, California has getting a slightly-above-average number of m3-4 quakes at all ends this year (Eureka, The Geysers, Berkeley/Crockett/Vallejo, Pinnacles, San Simeon, Malibu, Indio-Salton Sea, Baja, etc), who knows where IT'S going to hit?!?!
