Striking a law of Congress is not unprecedented, and not even particularly extraordinary: The court’s struck down more than 150 federal laws since its inception, not to mention overturning hundreds of state and local laws. So why on Earth would he say it? Why would he lecture the top jurists in the land — unelected, as they are, and appointed for life to remove them from petty politics — that the law has a “human element” that he hopes is “not forgotten in this political debate”? Why, for Heaven’s sake, would he declare that “the justices should understand” his health-care law doesn’t work unless every American is forced to buy coverage, whether it’s constitutional or not? Simple. His provably false remarks weren’t aimed at Supreme Court justices, but rather at uninformed Americans, especially liberals (is there any other kind?). The most divisive president in history is setting up yet another straw man for his re-election campaign, one that fits directly into his strategy to divide and conquer. Clearly, a justice sympathetic to the president passed along the outcome — and Mr. Obama’s comments this week certainly appear to show the court is planning to rule against the trillion-dollar mandate. Ill be a happy man if this law is stuck down. Oh ill be soo happy Pray for Us Sinners Now and at the Hour of our Death |

And Reagan's Attorney General: Atty. Gen. William French Smith declared yesterday that a bill sharply limiting the power of federal courts to order school busing is constitutional…. Smith also said he would defend the constitutionality of a bill denying the high court authority to rule on state regulation of voluntary prayer in public schools and buildings…. And the current Chief Justice: In 1981, while he was working at the Justice Department, a group of right-wing senators and representatives, led by Jesse Helms, John Ashbrook, and Philip Crane, introduced some 22 court-stripping bills to eliminate the Supreme Court’s jurisdiction to consider prayer in the schools, abortion, school busing and other controversial issues. [Now Chief Justice John] Roberts wrote a series of memos to his superiors in which he argued that these bills were constitutional. |

Quoting: Philligan We can all disagree about the merits of a President’s policies. But the American people should be able to expect that their President will defend the independence of the Court, not undermine it, safeguarding and strengthening our country’s institutions, not actively weakening them. The President crossed a dangerous line this week. And anyone who cares about liberty needs to call him out on it. The independence of the Court must be defended. Regardless of how the justices decide this case, they’re answerable, above all, to the Constitution they swore to uphold. The fact that this President does not appear to feel similarly constrained to respect their independence doesn’t change that one bit. So respectfully, I would suggest the President back off. Here is one of Obamas former law students speaking out against him: [link to nation.foxnews.com] It was so over for me, at the get-go three years ago when he bailed out the banks (whose BUSINESS it is to ~NOT ~LOSE ~MONEY). Yet we citizens who are hurting financially through no fault of our own, due to the impolicy and abuses of --government, he leaves out in the cold, to starve. Then I learned he's a pathological LIAR... |

Why you ask? He wasn't giving comfort or aid to an enemy, but he was blatantly making statements that were indicative of not recognizing the U.S. Constitution. Any one of us can make comments like this, but he cannot as he is actually 1/3 of our Government. Call or write your Congressman and demand a full legal review by our Department of Justice. Oh wait, he has filled this agency with his cronies hasn't he? Maybe Congress will act. |

This Potus and his cronies could care less, He (they) stand(s) up and unashamedly just out right lie(s) right to the American people over and over, every single day.
