Dream .. Can anyone interpret ..

I was a pretty big sufferer of sleep paralysis too. At it's peak, I was having 2-3 instances per week, and it eventually got to a point where I actually couldn't inhale until the paralysis unlocked.

That's just an excuse, you had lost interest in him.

If you really loved him you would do anything to keep him, even accepting his choice of career.

He gave things up for you, did things against his beliefs for you, he opened his heart to you.

You did not return the understanding. He let you pursue dreams/goals and worked with you to accomplish them. Even if he did not agree with it.

When it was your turn to give the same, you stabbed him.


He was in boot camp, can't do anything about it. No closure, no attempt to save his relatioship, it just died while his hands were tied.

And he probably joined so YOU could have a good life.



That is my version of the meaning. But beyond the dream, you gave up a great life girl. The Military is good to it's wives. You missed out on the best thing in your life to a selfish mistake.


It was him who bled, hurt and cried more then you.....and you lost more then he. Cause he lost a selfish woman, you lost a golden man.

You asked for a dream interpretation, not a judgment like others on this thread are giving you. Do not feel guilty for not wanting what he wanted. People come and go.


So, my interpretation of the dream is this: basically, everyone in your dream is a representation of a part of you. So, think of the two main qualities you see in him - whether they are good or bad - and that is the part of yourself you were dreaming about last night. Your dream did not have to do with him as a person.

Clearly, your inner self is trying to tell you that the part of you that he represents needs healing and closure of some sort. If you can find those things in yourself that need healing, try and bring them to the surface by looking at them honestly.

Basically if those things within you are not healed, you will eventually attract another mate just like him and have to go through the experience again.

you and only you can decode it , dont ask others to help this is the begining of true wisdom.

Dreams are personal to each person.
Asking another to decode it will only get you a boyscout version . It won't decode it entirely for you.

It works like this.
Your subconscious listens to you all your life.
It creates a language, an image language with emotional images woven in, based on your life experiences.
Granted certain universal symbols are common.
But even then, it will be used based on your interpretation or inner representation of life.

I can interpret it like , the person stabbing himself means he 's blaming himself for the negatives in the relationship, and the dream is probably telling you that you should talk to him again, maybe there could be some new inputs that can help you make up your mind.

But I wouldn't go with that.
You need to convert your dream images into your life experience, and decode it from there.

This is natures way to help you to communicate with your subconscious. Learn the language. Its an advantage.

You have trouble accepting emotional commitments don't you?

I suspect your reasoning for splitting with the ex has less to do with your agreement with his choice and more to do with your refusal to make an emotional commitment in light of a physical separation.

Your subconscious is trying to remind you of the mistake you made a long time ago, but your denial of having done any such thing is preventing you from feeling the emotional attachment you seek.

The act of a mate stabbing himself in response to being ignored by you ought to open your eyes to the fact that your emotional growth has become reactive in nature. Your happiness lies in the change to be found by finding how to serve and fulfill your emotions in a proactive way.

Maybe the sleep paralyzing is a symptom of a problem relating to this, and by medding up, you are only pushing yourself deeper into denial of the root problem?

But I would rather make a mistake and regret it .. then never make one at all ..

.. and yes I did disagree with him, but yes I would do it again ..

.. I do not support anyone who supports what our government is doing without any inner knowledge of why you are doing it ..

I did/do interpret my own dreams .. and I do not believe there is a problem with asking for the opinion of others ..

Well...that explains why you stalk she hater posters under the pretense of advocating women's rights.

He has always blamed himself .. I was a young single mom .. he wanted to be "real man .. a military dad .. he wanted to marry me and leave to serve his country ..

I wanted him to let me serve him .. as he served me and our children .. as we lived together not seperate for a higher power .. aka as the theocracy we live in ..

.. and to this day .. he wants me back .. he calls me always .. just can't let my guard down for someone who is there .. but really, never is ..

When I fell on the floor and said I couldn't do this, I have nothing and no one .. he was there .. he lifted me up .. and said .. "you can do this, I can love you" ..

.. and I did do everything to keep him .. every thing .. but losing him to that isn't keeping him ..

It seems that you wanted to control him to your own satisfaction without letting him become what he always wanted (knew) to do. In essence you perhaps killed his spirit within you. I also had a girlfriend (I loved deeply) in HS who wrote me a "Dear John" letter. It killed me as being in the service at the time, there was nothing I could do about it. (I still think about her on occasion even now). Back then, It gave me a death wish. So, I voluteered for Vietnam (72') and any other "action" I could get into until my retirement in 2006. In the end though, I had to do what my life's calling was. The end result was her rejection started me on a path of realizing what I was supposed to do in life.

So, you see your dream has put him on the path......hold on to your memories.

It means he has a tendency to self-harm to gain your pity and keep you close.

Which after reading further in the thread that he's addicted to Narcotics confirms it for me.

Addictive personalities/addicts tend to self-harm for pity, and to manipulate those around them to get what they want.

It means that at first you wanted to fuck, but now you just secretly wish he was dead

Your dream was a combination I think of truth which you really know - at the subconscious level - and yet, mental 'guilt' over seeing him suffer. so he is in love with you. Too bad he didn't heed your feelings about the military.
I think you definitely did the right thing about breaking up with him. (He sounds like he is unstable if you dreamed he stabbed himself in the side twice - who would want a man who is going to stab himself if you don't go along with his wishes?, also weak and disregarding of you).

Anyone who actually elects to join the military in any of the services is not informed about what that really means for them.


They will not be the person they were meant to be after that.

It was a messed-up emotional dream and think nothing more of it unless you are to remember the truth it showed about him being a stalker who is both weak, stupid and manipulative. Because if he were smart, he would have read up about the military and what goes on in the name of keeping us 'free' and 'safe' - and then never would have wanted to join. and he would maybe still have YOU.

Clearly the dream means this..you were destined to be with the guy. In the dream he hurt himself meaning he is still
deeply hurt that you left him.You, deep in your heart still
love him and cant replace him. Try and reconnect and see
if this is what the dream is saying.

You missed the fact that he hurt himself. She felt guilty about it.

Redrosie it may be this was a great challenge to you and still is. It may mark a time of trial and error which you are still currently partaking in.

Dreams bring to surface problems ppl need to face. It may be part of the great divide occurring on your personal level and soon on a greater scale.
