Oh man this sounds exactly like this thing they do on a radio station called Hot 99.5 called "War of the Roses". People who think their significant other is cheating call the show and tell them, then the jockey calls the person and acts like they're giving away free roses, and asks who they want to send them to, with a personal note. You would HOPE the person would be sending it to their BF/GF, but almost EVERY TIME they're cheating.
