We secretly delight in others misfortunes, and love to witness drama and conflict.
We are a fallen race.

God is so HOLY and utterly PERFECT that to sin against Him is a crime of UNSPEAKABLE vileness.

That is why Adam and Eve could simply bite a fruit, and the enitre universe was brought under the judgement of God, and thrown into chaos.

AND YOU SEE, YOU AND I CAN'T EVEN BEGIN TO UNDERSTAND THE SERIOUSNESS OF WHAT THIS MEANS.

Every one of us has been born into sin. This is evident, because it is our natural human nature to sin. We love revenge and feed off of gossip; we are jealous of one another and often have selfish motives for our actions. We secretly delight in others misfortunes, and love to witness drama and conflict.

We are a morally depraved race that is so busy pursuing worldly pleasure, that we have turned our backs on the Creator.

Friend… the bible makes it very clear that we are all sinners…

Romans 3 verse 23 states:

"For all have sinned, and come short of the glory of God"

Re: We secretly delight in others misfortunes, and love to witness drama and conflict.
What is Sin?

Sin is when your conscience tells you something is wrong, but you just go ahead and do it anyway. But more specifically… Sin is when you break Gods law. If the bible tells you not to lie, and you tell a lie then you have sinned. If you have ever told a lie, even a small white lie, that makes you a liar, and therefore in Gods eyes you are a sinner.

Matthew 5 verse 28 states:

But I say unto you, That whosoever looketh on a woman to lust after her hath committed adultery with her already in his heart.

Here God's word tells us that it is wrong to look at pornography, or in a lustful way at any women apart from your wife. How many of us are guilty of fantasising about another women while making love to our wives? This is sin, and is wrong in God's eyes.

Proverbs 24 verse 9 states:

"The thought of foolishness is sin"

Here Gods word tells us that to even 'think' a foolish thought is to sin. So how much more so when we 'act' foolishly?

Ephesians 5 verse 4 states:

"Neither filthiness, nor foolish talking, nor jesting"

How many of us are guilty of acting immature or playing the fool? Get a few mates together and it's easy to get carried away. Making fun of your friend or telling a dirty joke may seem like harmless fun, but God sees it differently.

James 2 verse 9 states:

"But if ye have respect to persons, ye commit sin"

Another form of sin is when we treat people differently based on their physical appearance or other factors. I know I personally have been guilty on many occasions of being nice to the popular kids at my school, while ignoring or being rude to the less popular ones. Other times you may treat people differently based on their skin colour, weight, level of wealth, job or education. In Gods eyes, all of us are equal, so for us to treat one another differently is to sin.

James 4 verse 17 states:

"Therefore to him that knoweth to do good, and doeth it not, to him it is sin."

The bible not only teaches that we sin when we do what we shouldn't, but when we don't do what we should, we commit sin also. Perhaps your conscience may convict you when you see a little boy from Africa on the TV. The advert is appealing for sponsorship, and even though you can easily afford the small weekly fee, you choose to do nothing about it.

There are many excuses men come up with to justify why they aren't following the Lord, but if the truth be told, the main reason the majority of people are not saved, is because they don't want to be accountable for the sin in their lives. They don't want to be told what they can and can't do.

Just like a rebellious teenager has a problem with his or her parent's authority, the majority of humanity is in rebellion towards the heavenly Father.

So basically, to sin is to rebel against God.

Re: We secretly delight in others misfortunes, and love to witness drama and conflict.
What is the result of sin?

Well the short term result of sin is clearly evident in the world around us. Turn on the news at night, and you know that at least half the stories will be about Murder, Rape, Theft, War, Fraud, Disease, Famine, Terrorism and all kinds of other negative consequences that occur as a result of man choosing to ignore his God given conscience.

Think about why you have to install a car alarm. It's certainly not because you like the loud noise it makes when it go's off. No, you install a car alarm because you don't trust your fellow man. You are suspicious that if given the opportunity he would steal your car, so your mistrust motivates you to take adequate measures to protect what you value.

You certainly don't like the fact that you have to take these measures, but at the same time you seem to have no problem lying to your wife about where you were last night, or keeping the money from the wallet you found lying on the road. In God's eyes all sin is the same, from telling a white lie, to murdering your brother, there's no difference. Sin is wrong, and wrong is the opposite of right.

So, if the short term, or immediate result of mans sin, mean that we live in a world where there is much suffering, heart-ache, mistrust, injustice and chaos, then surely the long term or end result of sin would also be a negative consequence right?..

Right!

In fact the consequence is far more serious than the majority of the world realizes.

Romans 6 verse 23 states:

"For the wages of sin is death"

This 'death' is not just talking about a person dieing of disease, or getting hit by a bus. No, it's actually describing what the bible calls the 'second death'. This second death occurs after your natural death, and is the fate of every sinner. Since the bible tells us we are all sinners, then this means that we are all going to meet this same fate.

So what is this fate?

Revelation 20 verses 14 & 15 states:

"And whosoever was not found written in the book of life was cast into the lake of fire."

This 'lake of fire' is a place of eternal separation from God. It was originally created for Satan and his fallen angels.

Matthew 25 Verse 41 states:

"Depart from me, ye cursed, into everlasting fire, prepared for the devil and his angels"

You see the devil was originally an angel called Lucifer. Unfortunately Lucifer allowed the sin of pride to manifest a desire to be on an equal footing with God, and to be worshipped. As a result God damned Lucifer to hell, along with all the angels that were stupid enough to go along with him in his foolish rebellion. God changed Lucifers name to Satan, and the angels that followed him became demons.

Because we too have sinned, and fallen short of Gods perfect standard, we too are damned to spend eternity with Satan and his Demons in everlasting punishment. How do we know its everlasting?

Matthew 25 Verse 46 states:

"And these shall go away into everlasting punishment: but the righteous into life eternal".

People say that God is a loving God, therefore he can't hate, but what they don't understand, is that because God is love, He must hate that which is evil. For example, He loves children, therefore He hates abortion. He loves us; therefore he hates it when we sin.

Because God is a righteous God he must punish sin. He has clearly layed out how we are expected to live, as well as giving us all a conscience, so that we will be without excuse on the Day of Judgment. Even people who have never picked up a bible in their life, still have a God given sense of right and wrong, and deep down most are aware that one day their will be a consequence for the way they are living their lives.

A Criminal is someone who has broken mans law and must pay a penalty in prison temporarily.

A Sinner is someone who has broken Gods law and must pay a penalty in hell eternally.

So we have now established, that not only is the immediate result of disobeying God bad, but the end result is far far worse. We are all sinners, and therefore we all must pay the time for our crime.

Since the bible clearly teaches that the punishment is everlasting...

Re: We secretly delight in others misfortunes, and love to witness drama and conflict.
What hope is there?

Jesus Christ!

Yes approximately 2000 years ago God sent his only begotten Son Jesus Christ to earth to die a horrifically cruel death by being nailed to a cross. In doing so God offered Jesus as the perfect sinless sacrifice to pay the price for our sins!

Matthew 25 Verse 46 states:

"For God so loved the world, that he gave his only begotten Son, that whosoever believeth in him should not perish, but have everlasting life."

This is the most amazing and wonderful thing to ever occur since the creation of the world!

Not only did God become a man (Jesus Christ) and teach the world the most beautiful non selfish way to live… but He also died and rose again, paying the price for our sin, and defeating death, so that we can now escape the punishment we deserve, and gain eternal life.

And what's even more amazing, is that it's a free gift! We can't earn our way to heaven by good deeds. Jesus has already paid the entry fee for us when He suffered the agony of the cross.

The only way we can obtain entry into heaven and have our sins blotted out, is by believing in Jesus Christ and repenting of our sin.

Mark 1 Verse 15 states:

"And saying, The time is fulfilled, and the kingdom of God is at hand: repent ye, and believe the gospel."

So if you've been feeling like something is missing in your life, a feeling of being lost, or that life is pointless, or your depressed, or experiencing a sense of guilt about the sins you've committed, then there's a very high chance that God is drawing you into a relationship with Him, through His Son Jesus Christ. To enter this relationship one must be born again.

John 3 Verse 3 states:

"Jesus answered and said unto him, Verily, verily, I say unto thee, Except a man be born again, he cannot see the kingdom of God."

When you genuinely give your life to Jesus Christ, you become Born Again. This is a spiritual rebirth where your old life is dead and forgotten. All your past sin is forgiven and you become a new creature.

2 Corinthians 5 Verse 17 states:

"Therefore if any man be in Christ, he is a new creature: old things are passed away; behold, all things are become new."

You no longer live your life as a slave to the flesh and its selfish desires, but instead you learn to obey the Holy Spirit which comes to dwell inside you. The Holy Spirit is the Spirit of God and teaches you the mind of God.

You will notice you have a totally new outlook on life as your spiritual eyes are opened for the first time. Your priorities change and your desire becomes less self centered and more about how you can please God.

The gospel of salvation is the only hope in this cold dark world. Only Jesus can set you free and break your chains. Whether it is addiction to drugs, heartbreak over a broken marriage or any other burden you've been carrying, Jesus Christ can, and will, set you free.

Matthew 11 Verses 28-30 states:

"Come unto me, all ye that labour and are heavy laden, and I will give you rest. Take my yoke upon you, and learn of me; for I am meek and lowly in heart: and ye shall find rest unto your souls. For my yoke is easy, and my burden is light."

Are you sick of the uphill battle you've been fighting your entire life?

Do you realize that superficial things such as money, fame, education, family, sports, business, hobbies, music etc, all count for nothing in the end?

The only thing that is going to matter when you stand before God on judgment day, is whether or not you took the time to develop a relationship with your creator through His son the Lord Jesus Christ.

Are you ready to let go and surrender your life to God?

You've got nothing to lose but everything to gain.

Will you accept His wonderful offer of eternal life?

If you want to be Born Again then simply talk to Jesus.

Start by telling Him how you honestly feel.

Then in your own words...

Tell Jesus that you believe that He is the Son of God and that He died to pay the price for your sin, and that He then rose again from the dead 3 days later.

Let Him know that you are ready to turn away from your life of sin from this moment on.

Also let Jesus know that you want to follow Him from now on, and that you acknowledge Him as your personal Lord and Saviour.

Simple aye? That's the beauty of it. It's not about membership at a church, or going and seeing a priest, or even about helping old ladies cross the road. It's simply about humbling yourself, and acknowledging your sin, then turning away from it, and living your life the way the bible teaches. If you sincerely put your faith and trust in Jesus Christ He will come into your life and you'll begin to experience the most beautiful change imaginable.

Search for Jesus Christ with all your heart and He will reveal Himself to you. That's a promise!

This is no fairy tale, this is the whole purpose of life!

Get hold of a King James Version of the Bible and begin to read it daily. Put into practice what it teaches. Confess to others your new found faith in Jesus Christ, and share with them the wonderful change that has occurred in your life.

Get a friend or trusted family member who is also born again to baptize you in water. Going under the water symbolises your old life being washed away, and then when you come back up you are rising with Christ into a brand new beginning, where you now obey the Holy Spirit instead of the flesh. This is also an outward symbol to others that you are serious about your commitment to following Jesus Christ.

Choosing Jesus Christ as your Lord and Saviour is the most important decision you'll ever make. At the end of the day nothing else matters.

WELCOME TO THE FAMILY! YOU ARE NOW MY BROTHER OR SISTER IN CHRIST!

BECAUSE YOU HAVE BEEN BORN AGAIN, YOU ARE NOW PART OF THE BODY OF CHRIST, WHICH IS THE TRUE CHURCH.

IT'S NOT MEMBERSHIP AT SOME BUILDING DOWN THE ROAD.

Kind Regards and God Bless

Yours in Christ

Jon Low

Philippians 1 Verse 6 states:

"Being confident of this very thing, that he which hath begun a good work in you will perform it until the day of Jesus Christ:"

Yes cry out to the only one who can save you, Jesus Christ. Just be honest with him. If you sincerely want to know him He will reveal Himself to you... that is a promise!

Turn away from all sin. You can't in your strength, but with Jesus's strength you can do it!

Get hold of a King James bible, and begin to read the new testement. Follow what it teaches, and give your life to the Lord.

Re: We secretly delight in others misfortunes, and love to witness drama and conflict.
many are out to sell something for profit. they money manage their being and erode their true inner gentle Spiritual nature and try to put a price tag on everything even something as simple as water. that is a choice. the one true nonmonetary gentle God of truth provides free will of path chosen for every being. children are exempt until the age of accountibility and every child truly senses that age within their own being. the path chosen is the free will choice that gentle nonmonetary God of truth is so gracious to provide.

a being can be off course for many a years however if that little innocent child within them survives somehow with a glimmer of hope then there is always the chance to go on a differet path of nonmonetary Spirituality journey and if the little child didnt survive in the carnal trappings journey then that being will exit physical vessel to be in another infant vessel clearly remembering all they are to do in their next chance and often times that is why babies cry and they know so clearly and are so frustrated and yet can not speak human words then by the time they master human words often they have forgotton and often times not completely forgot and have glimmers of some more deeper Spiritual aspect to their journey and every being works at their own pace because nonmonetary graceful gentle God of truth is so amazing that way.

now the beings that want only of carnal land trappings and they corrupt and decept as many as possible along their way and try to profit by puting a price tag on everything, then those beings are eternally bound in Spiritual bondage prison war grid by their own choice. however they can not trap all beings there and if it be a pure intent desire to exit carnal grid then what they say in the carnal trappings land to be impossible is completely possible for a true gentle Spiritual being because they are not from carnal grid and simply for one reason or another had to experience the human vessel experience to further learn and grow Spiritually for their self and possibly more important for others of their kind.

To believe in us is part of it but to truly enter Heaven ye must become like us, we ask ye to do good deeds to follow the example given unto all to live by what we taught for love of thy neighbour is love of GOD for all that is good is GOD and to do Good is to love GOD. Be kind always unto others, set not thine heart upon the things of the world but set thine heart upon the things in Heaven, for God knows what ye need and shall provide, ye can not serve two masters for ye shall hate one and love the other, ye must choose Mammon or God.

I like the things thou has said Op blessings unto ye, if thou was to know whom is speaking unto ye now then blessed are ye for the Father would reveal it for that is only how it can be known, for light knows light but darkness knows only darkness.

The Wrath of God is necessary for Justice mankind was given alot of time to repent to listen unto our prophets before we would return to bring justice upon all, everyone alive and dead shall reap as they have sown, the punishments will be fair and the rewards fair all shall be based on the choices people have made in life, those whom love the things of world love the devil for the devil creates this world people live in now, God is not a lover of the natural man but of the spiritual man, for in eyes of God the natural man is a abomination.

All are asked now to repent before we begin the tribulation soon in near future your world shall have a world war it shall be a great war, 10 nations shall rise against nations and great destruction shall come, those whom survive will be in a famine, pestilence and war torn world with the stink of death all around and that is only the beginning for as a bullet leaveth a gun so too shall tribulation come.

Re: We secretly delight in others misfortunes, and love to witness drama and conflict.
because it is our natural human nature to sin.
 Quoting: Abiding in Jesus Christ

If God is all knowing and all seeing, then a sin would only be something you do consciously that hurts another being, and do so without remorse, or respect (in the case of killing an animal to eat).

So no, we do not all sin.

Some of us can become enlightened, and free of sin.

And the rest of us try, oh how we try, to bring that person back to Earth, so that they can judge us, and make us feel like shit.
 Quoting: Scuba7

Uhm, I'll bet you are sinning. Do I really need to make a list of these things? I consider myself close to God but still have a lot of trouble being good. I can promise a new-ager isn't. And, I haven't seen anyone judge you. Just knock that chip off your shoulder by yourself.
 Quoting: Borian

Hey can I challenge you and ask why your avatar is of a demonic looking entity? The Holy Spirit within me would convict me not to use such an evil looking thing as my avatar.

If you are having trouble being good, then there is a very high chance you aren't truely born again, as when we truely submit our WHOLE life to Christ, we become a new creature, and are dead to sin.

That doesn't mean we wont ever slip up again, but the difference is that God is doing such a wonderful change in our life that when we do even the smallest sin we are convicted by the Holy Spirit, and quickly get things right with Jesus again.

Can we sin 6 days a week then repent on the 7th, rinse and repeat?

I DO NOT think this way. I know lots of people who think this way, many of them family members, but I DO NOT! I do not watch the "reality programs", or the "Dr. Phil" type shows, or the "Judge Judy" type programs either! Many people have a morbid fascination with these types of programs. They love to watch the suffering of others, the drama, the conflict!
