I agree with you that they are very harmful.

Most smart phones have a nearly 6 foot radius where the energy being sent is so strong it can interfere with nearby speaker systems. This can be demonstrated at any time with nearly any modern phone, shielded or not.

These devices are constantly sending off electromagnetic radiation into our bodies and heads. Our bodies and heads use electromagnetic signals to operate, so I find the whole thing disturbing as well.

Then the multiple studies that have shown these devices cause changes to brain tissue.

Millimeter wave technology allows mobile phones (MP) to act like mini-radars. The pulsed waves from them give a distinct image of the inside of a room, inside of a car, or wherever the MP is located. Even if turned off the MP can be activated in this way. A relative of mine just had a growth removed from the back of her left ear which is the ear she holds the MP up to whenever she uses it! MP waves are known to cause other problems. Thinking can be effected. DNA can be damaged. Isn't technology great!

In past there were lots of them. No matter how much poison you put everywhere - they always come back later. They were thought as the most survival insects which will live even after nuclear war. But after year 2000 they just disappeared. Now there're no cockroaches even in dirtiest houses. It's good but makes you wonder what happened? So what happend after year 2000? Mobile phones became widespread. Cockroaches can't stand their waves.

This is due to the radio frequency radiation that can bounce back and forth inside the eye socket rather than passing through the skull. But when you work on a laptop your head is not far from WiFi transmitter inside of it. I've read some studies (sorry can't give a link) that WiFi is also harmful.

Concerns about possible health risks from exposure to low levels of RF fields in ordinary environments have been expressed by a number of individuals over the years in connection with many technologies that use RF energy. To address such concerns, health agencies around the world have repeatedly reviewed the scientific literature and found no convincing evidence of any health hazards from RF fields below international safety limits. For example, the World Health Organization stated recently in a fact sheet that “no health effects are expected from exposure to RF fields from [cellular] base stations and wireless networks” (WHO 2006).

A few individuals have reported that RF signals from Wi-Fi and other low-level sources of RF fields can trigger allergy-like reactions—a phenomenon called electrical hypersensitivity. This is a complex issue that scientists have studied with respect to low-level RF fields from various sources for a number of years.

While the distress of electrically hypersensitive individuals is very real, controlled studies have failed to connect their symptoms to the exposure to fields. These studies show that the symptoms appear to be associated with whether the individual believes that he/she is being exposed, rather than the actual exposure. The WHO fact sheet quoted above states that “[electromagnetic fields] have not been shown to cause such symptoms. Nonetheless, it is important to recognize the plight of people suffering from these symptoms.”

Thus, electrical hypersensitivity is a complex psychosocial phenomenon, not a straightforward toxicity response to RF fields. Indeed, given the presence of RF fields from many sources in the environment, many stronger than fields from wireless networks, it is difficult to imagine that wireless networks by themselves could be a cause of significant health problems or that an electrically hypersensitive individual could reliably identify wireless networks as the cause of his/her problems.

My cell phone stays on all night and I sleep like a baby.

I think if one put a soft bed near Fukushima reactor he would sleep very well also.

Of course Fukushima radiation is radioactivity which is much more dangerous...


but only a fool would think that EM radiation from cellphones or wifi are entirely harmless. Your cellphone doesn't emit much when it is not ringing or making a call but sleeping with it beside you (probably with wifi and bluetooth enabled as well) is just silly.
