I'm pretty sure that 6 individuals lost their lives during the construction of the original Titanic. One was pinned by dunnage as the ship was first being launched from the Harland and Wolf shipyard.

They will build for the least cost. Lowest quality labour and materials. That way, the chance of it sinking on its maiden voyage is maximized.
