What do you mean about old testament law?
The laws of Moses? No we are not under those laws.
However, we are under the law of God.
The Bible defines sin as transgression of the law, what law? The law of God (the 10 commandments)
If we are no longer beholden to the 10 commandments then it is impossible for us to sin because there is no law to judge us by, this means we can go about doing all manner of evil and not have to worry about it - this is a doctrine of the devil.
We are under the law of God and we always will be, we will never be good enough! This is where Jesus came in for us, but we must do our best to obey the law. We are not saved by works, we are saved by grace. But grace comes through belief in Christ and Christ himself obeyed the law.
If we are to follow Christ, we follow Gods law.
Hope that makes sense for ya. /thread
