Okay, so you're trying to contend that OP is putting too much meaning into the word. He's being paranoid. He's being ridiculous. It's nothing to get bent out of shape about. Additionally, you're trying to be cute and clever. But cute and clever makes you look like a fool when the entire premise of your statement is false and short-sighted.

Do you believe the Obama campaign attaches no significance to the word? Is it a random word they chose from those strange things you speak of...those...how do you say it again? Dich...dichinaries?

Or did they decide they wanted to use a word that would make people think of DVD players? Is that going to be the main thrust of his 2012 campaign: vote for me, get a free DVD player?

If Barry's campaign is attaching some significance to the word (as I think I've shown, even without the benefit of one of these...dichinaries?), then his opponents are perfectly free to do the same, though they may not extract the same significance as our comrade-in-chief.
