Lost my mother 6 months ago, today was her birthday. Out of nowhere my wife’s computer starts playing my mother’s favorite song.

I looked hard for a answer. No BS just very strange.

My wife's dad passed away last year. Some months ago, his death hit her particularly hard. One morning, a battery powered lamp we have in the room suddenly came on. Trouble is, the switch was OFF. I checked. The lamp hadn't been used on more than a year, and I'm pretty sure the batteries had been used up. It stayed on in the OFF position for a week, then slowly dimmed. Damndest thing I've ever seen.

That is a sign. I would be happy.

i frequently smell my grandmothers perfume 'cotys lamaint' - they dont make it anymore.

OP, it was your mother sending you her love. Believe me the loved ones that pass over, stay in touch with us in many different ways. Just keep smiling.

imo, it was your Mother's way of letting you know that she is okay, and that you will meet her again one day.

and the fact that she chose HER birthday to share this with you, speaks volumes of her love and care for you.

U received a sign, so sweet! That happened to me too after my fathers death, but the stereo dial retuned itself to his favorite song(right at the beginning -white sport coat) and the candle I had lit for him began flickering rapidly. Our parents continue to love us and reassure us. Blessings!

While it may have been something to make him feel good about his mother, it was NOT his mother sending anything! The Bible makes it clear that when we die, we don't DO anything, SAY anything, HEAR anything or KNOW anything. We are asleep until the resurrection.

If not she is now being horrifically tortured in hell by having the skin seared of her body again and again and demons are there to tear her limb from limb and no matter how much she screams for mercy god wont listen.

But if she WAS a christian she is now in heaven with all the other self rightous bastards who beleive the above to be TRUE!

Sorry about the loss of your sister. What we believe is irrelevant, what the Bible says is truth and the Bible makes it clear that when we die we are asleep, resting in the grave until the resurrection, unaware of anything going on. But white butterflies are awesome :)

You bible is WRONG. There are MANY advanced souls here who CAN and DO revisit. I communicated often with my Grandmother for years. She even showed up twice in my living room. Not everyone is having their first life on this planet.

And in FACT anyone who reaches 5d Consciousness in this life, is resurrected on the 3rd day and does not have to wait for the end of age or millennial resurrections. The bible is a poor source of cosmology. Jesus himself taught about the reincarnation on this planet, for the growing of the soul and that was left out of the bible.

I've had many signs from my mother since she passed. Cherish those gifts from her always and don't doubt them.

A couple things. We don't go to heaven or hell at death, we rest in the grave until one of 2 resurrections the Bible says. Hell isn't burning yet, and hell doesn't burn for eternity, the bible makes it clear that after hell does its work of destruction, it's done, over with, gone, the second death. And that doesn't happen til the very end before God creates a new heaven and a new earth.

Ummm no if you're communicating with someone "dead" then you're communicating with demons! Don't forget satan knew wo your grandmother was too and is more than willing to "appear" as her any time you want him too. Jesus never taught reincarnation but resurrection and made it CLEAR in the Bible that death is a peaceful SLEEP until the resurrection. People who disregard what the Bible says about death will be utterly deceived at the end of time!

Except for one thing.

If all the sinners all die in the end..and return to non existence..why bother?

We all NON existed for billions of eternities..and it was GREAT..no hassles..no worries..not time passing..just an endless bliss of not even knowing it was just an endless bliss.

What is so frightening about returning to the nothing we came from?

I look forward to never existing again. It didnt bother me last time I was there and it certainly wont bother me again.

You know, it's pretty damn rude to come onto someone's thread about a dead family member and say crap like, "Oh it wasn't your mother, it was a demon, your mother is asleep blah blah blah." Have some sensitivity. It's been 2.5 years since I lost my mother very unexpectedly, and I still have moments that bring me to my knees. Regardless of what you believe, those comments do NOTHING except piss in OP's Cheerios. Learn to zip it. Troll.
