Duane Allman. Makes every other guitar player previous to him or after look like a pile of puke, that's why.

It ain't that hard, don't let it intimidate you. There is so many free tools to lear now with you tube and the internet. If you want it bad and have patience and put the time in you can rock.
You gotta love it, the guitar needs more attention than a woman- but will give you back everything you put into it. If you have passion and dedication you will be able to get solace, friendship, companionship and a connection with your soul that will be unrelenting and never betray you.
I pick up my guitar it is old friend who has been there with me through the years and we play and reminice together.

Re: guitars
Check out this guy. He's got a Cuban flag behind him, playing a Bob Dylan version of an old Blind Willie blues tune that I all but forgot about until I stumbled on his video. I have played this along with him- on video- many times since and we actually communicated as I messaged him- he is true blue.
