Chicago looks like military occupation. Cops everywhere downtown, helicopters hovering. About a dozen cops posted outside our office

Appears to be some sort of support company. Has maintenance sections a few trans vehicles and a crap ton of humvees for some reason.

Most likely the reserves or guards just got a surplus of old used up regular army vehicles.

I saw one of those Wednesday it was on a truck just like that and it was avoiding the interstate. It was on a two lane road for about 20 miles.

The wierd thing is, these people could have had their "summit" on an aircraft carrier, well-protected in the middle of a battle-group, anywhere in the world. Complete and utter safety and privacy.

Instead, they have to have it in a city, so a theatrical presentation can be unfolded and the ordinary person shown how powerful TPTB actually are.

The true "demonstration" doesn't come from the protestors on the streets, but from TPTB.

Chicago, and whatever unfolds there, is unnecessary. It's entirely gratuitous THEATRE.

Problem is the scores of well-meaning "little" people on both sides who will sadly go thru the meat-grinder, serving as extras in this little pageant.

$10 says states all around IL will put their citizens on curfew and lock down soon.
