The shadow moves across the Earth. The shadows center runs directly over Fukushima, on it's way to the west coast.

With Full moons, the major lunar pull is opposite to that of the sun. During Eclipse, it is direct line with Sun's. Also Mercury, Jupiter and Venus ar within a few degress of the same line of pull. Should be maximum gravitational effect today, FWIW.
