Thread: Breaking NEWS. Oklahoma will allow open carry Nov 1, 2012 In this case, you were just a tad slow on the draw. |

The world is so full of pathetic worms masquerading as men that it is frightening. If it was compulsory for every man to be armed the crime rate would be literally zero and I don't give a fuck what you anti gun fairies wail about. Any man who is anti gun is an unnatural creature.... Quoting: Anonymous Coward 1866554 Thank you to my brother or sister in Germany, as I'm German by decent. Study history, or STFU! Let me guess? s. d. butler User ID: 974819 United States 05/25/2012 04:46 PM Report Abusive Post Report Copyright Violation | Actually there are several no permit open carry states. People routinely open carry in these states. So it is kind of hard to understand your excitement. When Oklahoma gets constitutional carry that would be reason for excitement. Constitutional carry means no permit, concealed or unconcealed. Right now four states have this and Montana might as well have. I have open carried for twenty years or more. I can now walk around with my gun in my trousers, showing off nothing, or something left and right. Neither me or my friends will be doing that, but it allows us to carry our favorite big guns now. that is what this means. I'm carrying my 45, not some pansy .380 Personally, I'll be carrying a 1911 .45 ACP Good luck to the bad guys, because I'm a good one, Study history, or STFU! Let me guess? Quoting: tin foil hat off Personally I think this is a good thing, not for the obvious but for the reason that it gets rid of some of the scary concealed carry problems. You ask what probs, well, like accidentally exposing you have a weapon was a crime before. Now, I can walk around like anyone else and if I happen to expose, no big deal. That's the difference between jail, and freedom. Go Oklahoma! I knew there had to be some reason I was living here. Any of you weenies that hate firearms would love to have someone on your side with one if you were ever in trouble. This is one step more for the legality of law abiding citizens to not only own but carry them and defend themselves, family, and friends. Criminals will always have superior strength if we allow them that. Arming the citizen brings defense within our grasp. It puts the criminal mind at unease. There is responsibility along with this right. In fairness to The Constitution we have this right without applying for it, but we do have to understand that with this right comes responsibility. You abide the laws, and you become a person in trust of laws. If you decide to do this, you become a defender, not an offender, and you have to shift your mindset to that. I should hope if any of you have, or intend to get their carry permit, then you look at it as a weight around your neck. You are now abliged to follow the rules, even moreso than your neighbor. This doesn't make you god, or a person of power, it makes you responsible, beyond all doubts for your actions. If you must do this, then realize it is a responsibility you are taking on. It is of course a freedom, but this one carries more responsibility than most any other. . Do not abuse it! Gun control is citizen control. I'd rather fight with my fists. Win or lose, it's more satisfying. Men who hide behind guns just seem scared. |

He wet the bed and shot the kid. Don't get me wrong, I own several guns, I just prefer to use them for sport. Open carry allows too many people who don't know how to engage in conflict to be dangerous. Last Edited by daslobo on 05/25/2012 05:16 PM |

Anonymous Coward User ID: 16609129 Spain 05/25/2012 05:15 PM Report Abusive Post Report Copyright Violation | I'd rather not have a gun as I have a terrible flash temper and it would be so tempting to blast away, but I respect the right of responsible citizens to carry a gun. Quoting: Anonymous Coward 14408911 LOL Try yourself out on one of these first. If your flash temper is to much to contain then at least you will only irritate someone: |
