And to get out of the US requires the expatriot to deposit some large amount of money into a local banking account; for instance Costa Rica wants $150K in a Costa Rican bank for my family and I to live there. That can be a barrier to expatriation. |

Quoting: Anonymous Coward 16999414 So, Portuguese, huh? No data mining. Just a fair question. I mean come on... When you see people in the streets possessed or hosting some fabricated virus that make them eat other peoples flash, mysterious flash-eating bacteria contaminating people, military airplanes spraying shit in the air every single day, you have to ask yourself if it's a country safe for your family. Of course the Europe of today may be far different from the Europe I remember. |

With 200% Credit Card Interest Rates, Brazil Bracing for 12.5% Primte Rate ouch [link to www.brazzilmag.com] Analysis: Household debt-service ratio is very high in Brazil “For consumers (in Brazil) specifically, the ramifications are serious as the debt service burden has risen to 24 per cent of disposable income and is set to rise further as rates push higher (actually they have been lowered). We expect the burden to rise to an exorbitant 30 per cent by 2012. To put this into context, the US consumer “blew up” when the debt service burden hit 14 per cent (with a current read of approximately 12 per cent). In other words, the Brazilian consumer has twice the debt load from a cash flow perspective relative to a US consumer who is still widely regarded as being over leveraged.” [link to brazilianbubble.com] And it gets worse, because money has been pulling out of Brazil at the fastest rate of all emerging markets in the past 3 months... get ready for the big kaboom.... OP, again, focus on the issues in your own back yard before starting trouble over hear.... |
