Chevalier de Saint-George is nice too:

Thread: Chevalier de Saint-George, the "Black Mozart". Amazing classical music composer from the 18th century.

The recording is not very good.

Better to listen with just half of the volume, instead of the full volume, to avoid distortions in the recording.

Re: Bach's music
Bach is one of the Greatest, but there are others at least close to the same league, IMO. Beethoven, Chopin, Mozart, Rachmaninoff, Rimsky-Korsakov, Tchaikovsky, Dvorak, and others. Bach's organ music is spectacular.
In his book, "Between Two Ages," Brzezinski wrote: "The technetronic era involves the gradual appearance of a more controlled society. Such a society would be dominated by an elite, unrestrained by traditional values."

Please tell me this isn't some terrible troll piss taking.
There is an American radio station broadcasting nothing but the works of J S Bach 24/7 on the internet.
My web radio is welded to that station.

If that's true I don't doubt it. I personally will not pass through a single day without listening to something that Mozart composed. He is perfection.

Re: Bach's music
Sunday Morning Baroque is a nationally syndicated show that can be found on most of your local (city) classical stations. Plays from 8am-12pm Sunday mornings.

For those without formal introduction to classical music, the show provides a good groundwork for the popular baroque composers and works as well as quite a few obscure composers that (like garage bands of today) had something to offer but weren't as popular as the big names that received funding to commission works by royalty.

Bach, Beethoven, Handel, Vivaldi...yes, all greats, but they are simply the tip of the iceburg when it came to music from that era.
