Anonymous Coward User ID: 17128952 United States 06/11/2012 02:54 PM Report Abusive Post Report Copyright Violation | I won't name one. They Live (1988) Brazil (1985) The whole series of RE/Search books The Biggest Secret by David dIcke Experience-wise, working at a movie theater as a kid, I witnessed several "big conspiracies" from behind the scenes. A whole theater except for the head manager, was in on a ticket re-selling thing...all these teenagers lived like drug dealers. they were taking in half of what the theater was taking in, and they got away with it. Later a manager friend of mine just didn't like this employee because he was fat and had rosy cheeks and was a real goodie-goodie. He was a perfect worker, but the manager just didn't like him, so every week he'd go back to count the tills after a rush and take $50 out of that kids till. It was some nobody kids word against the word of a manager who had worked for the company for years, so the kid was fired though he'd done nothing but really good work. And I'm like, "You think a lowly local theater manager is tempted and decides to secretly abuse his power like this for no defensible reason, but the ultra-elite won't ever do stuff like that on a way bigger scale, when trillions in wealth and ultimate power are the stakes?" |

I know it's not a contest but expected more trolls. My faith in GLP is fading. :Canadian F::State of Texas: "Misunderestimating is only 5/4 th's of the problem"!
